I just installed Firefox, but the install seemed to hang. The Firefox window appeared but said "Not Responding" for 10 minutes or more. I closed that window and each time I try to start Firefox I get the "Firefox has stopped working" message. I tried doing a clean re-install, but when the install tries to open the Firefox window the same "Firefox has stopped working" message appears. I've never seen the Crash Reporter and there is no Submitted folder. (The only folder under Crash Reports is Events, and it's empty.) I'm on Windows 7.

YouTube plays the first video fine, but when I select any other video from the browser window I get multiple Firefox crash alert windows. Nothing happens when I click the "Close the Program" option in the Crash Alert. Firefox remains open and eventually after a slight delay, the video selected will play, but the crash alert keeps popping up. -Began yesterday (3/11/19), no known changes to browser or system -Refreshed Firefox (did not help) -Attempted in Safe Mode (did not help) Thanks for any recommendations.

Trying to upload image of window that I get every time firefox crashes It won't upload. So what else is new Nothing seems to work well AT firefox......Then their is always your apology.....

I have been getting random tab or complete Firefox crashes lately and it seems to be getting worse over the last few days. I haven't added anything or made any major change to my pc in the past week, so I have no idea what could be causing these issues. Here are the 5 most recent reports:

I disabled all of my plugins and right now in safe mode. Can someone please tell me why it keeps crashing on Amazon?

Upgraded from Firefox 39.0.3 to 40.0.2, and it crashes on startup (even in safe mode). Rolling back to 39.0.3 works fine.

The latest Intel 5500 video card drivers provided by Lenovo have been installed (10.18.14.4206)

I use Firefox 12 because new versions won't work with my operating system. Over time, I find more and more sites are either unavailable or cause the computer to crash. I have assumed that it's a compatibility problem and not a problem with my computer, so nothing can be done except to avoid those sites. Am I correct?

It just randomly started to happen, on certain websites, or part of the sites, the browser freezes for 2-3 minuts, sometimes ending with a script error message, but more often just freeze and keep on going for ever.

I tried to upgrade from 45.0.1 to beta versions, with same outcome. I tried to clean all junk and cookies, even reseted the browser and tried with a new profile, same outcome. The strange thing is that I tried with a clean installed Waterfox x64 and same issues there.

There are no problems with the x86 Firefox.

It doesn't matter what I'm doing, Firefox crashes. I did not have this problem before your latest update a couple of days ago. This is so aggravating I'm ready to find another browser. I can't read any article in my newsfeed without it crashing and I was looking at my mail on Google + and it crashed three times until I gave up. Please fix this. The latest update is terrible. Also, the icons at the time for home, download, printer, etc., are so light, you can barely see them. This last update was terrible. Please fix it!!! Firefox is definitely broken!!!

FireFox crashed, When I brought it back up my toolbars were gone. How do I get them back? they are not under history either. Should I try reloading Firefox. This is the first problem I have had with this browser.

Firefox crashes upon startup in both 32 and 64 bit versions. Also crashes in Safe Mode. These are clean installs in Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit.
