Starting Aug. 9th, I have not been able to get on the page that lists my prescription medication, unless I disable my tracking blocker add-on. When I do this, a bunch of trackers swarm in like hornets and plant tracking cookies. Customer service speculates that the blocker is not allowing the website to read their cookie. Is there a way to free up that cookie without losing my Do-Not-Block protection?

Every once in a while, I go back and try something that worked in older versions of FF -- accepting some cookies and not accepting others.
In the current version, 59.0.3, I go to options, security and scroll down, I've added yahoo to my Exceptions to "allow" rather than "allow for session" and then set the general setting "keep until they expire". Now, this setup seems to be a way to whitelist only those sites I want to allow cookies, expiring others when I close FF -- as that's the most control I now have, the "ask every time" being gone. However, when I close FF and re-open, it hasn't kept the yahoo cookies as the exception implies it should.
How can I customize which cookies stay past the session and which don't?
How do I get my url back for my email sending, they disappeared.

I have a long list (~200) of websites where I need to block cookies. The list is in a .txt format. How do I block all these cookies at once?
Note that I don't want to disable all cookies, only some of them (those in my list).
I know that I can block cookies for each of these websites one by one, this is described here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/block-websites-storing-site-preferences But this would take a very long time. I need something fast which can be done repeatedly (for example whenever I get a new laptop).
I need this because the websites in question use my cookies to remember that I use an adblocker and then they show me their ads in another way. When I block cookies for these websites then there are no ads at all.

Periodically I set my browser option to delete cookies when the sessions ends, activate the do not track options etc. to maintain some degree of privacy however, invariably my browser ( firefox) shows that whilst the changes persist for one or more sessions invariably when I check them again after a couple of weeks the options have reset to allow all cookies forever from whatever third party wants to place them and the do not track option is switched off again.
How do I get to the Firefox toolbar?
I need to control cookies. I have been given the proper steps to do so, but am unable to locate the Firefox menu button and then "options".
I am getting a little edging about this Cookie Business. I do not know the stupid short cuts with just letters. Plus I am too old to be trying to dothis stuff
Help me. I do not need this frustration anymore

I have recently changed my pc. Now I'm using win 10. After installing Firefox, I am not able to log in my gmail as long as I have cookies active. It's only on gmail, other mails work allright.
Due to the information from gmail, it should be just the other way around. I'm quite confused and annoyed - I need an account to my job and I would like Firefox to remember my passwords. This way it doesn't work.
Can you help?
