I have tried all of the methods to delete the cookies that are suggested on your support site. I have tried them if the selection in Options is for cookies allowed and with cookies not allowed. Also with 3rd party cookies allowed and not allowed. Normally, I have it set at cookies allowed but 3rd party cookies not allowed. I have tried CCleaner, Euslings Cleaner, Auglogics Cleaner, Wise Cleaner, SuperAntiSpyware, Spybot, and WinPatrol, plus deleting the temp files in Windows. All that software cleans out cookies. I also have Spyblaster set to protect against hundreds of tracking cookies. It was SuperAntiSpyware that brought the problem to my attention in the first place. It just started doing it approximately a few weeks ago but only the passed several days have I been working hard to get those cookies deleted. There must be a couple hundred of them. I did manage to delete about 5 or 6 of them but the others won't budge. I want to clean them all at and start from scratch and monitor them on a daily basis. I don't want most of them. SuperAntiSpyware claims it deletes them but when I go to Options in the browser they are still there. SuperAntiSpyware claims the cookies are there every time I run the program before shutting down the computer. I just added that Troubleshooter and looked at information. I'm sorry but I'm not understanding anything. I'm not that computer savvy.

Locking duplicate thread.
Please continue here: [/questions/986038]

Although I have "remember password" checked, I have to re-enter it every time I open FIrefox - Google is my homepage. To be fair, my username and password ARE remembered, but I would prefer to stay logged in permanently. This only became an issue when I added the PrivacyChoice Tracker Block add-on. I have since removed it from my toolbar. I also had a custom setting for Tools/Options/Privacy with exceptions to cookies but I have resorted back to Remember History. All cookies and cache are cleared. I'm not experiencing any other issues with other sites, yahoo, social media, etc. Just Google. Any ideas what to do next?

I can do everythinga usaual with Firefox until I try and access my emails through gmail. Throws up a cookies message but unabke to check and none of th advice seems to work. If I log on in Internet Explorer instead of Firefox i have no problem at all but would prefere to use Firefox. I also getthe same mesage when I logon to my blog (no problem) butthen try to upload photos form the hard drive.

I tried uninstalling Firefox then download anew but even that did not resolve the cookies problem. Should I try this again and remove Firefox from the computer, wait a while and then download? If so, presukably I will have to startagain with my "Bookmarls".

I am using Windows 8.

After Firefox updated on Dec 9th, I cannot log-in to MyYahoo or Yahoo mail using Windows 8 or XP sp3. When I try to log-in it states cookies are being rejected. I have followed all directions for removal and confirmed settings. MSIE works. I tried removing Adblocker and Firefox Filter add-ons because Firefox started freezing. I fixed the freezing but still can't log into Yahoo. I added Yahoo to exception lists but it did not help.

I went in and deleted my cookies and I closed my options and then went back in and one in particular was back. So, I completely closed FireFox, re-opened it and left it on the blank FireFox homepage. Then I went in and deleted said cookie again, but no matter how many times I delete it, it just re-appears. I am not going onto that website, it just wont go away.
