It all started with all my bookmarks in the sidebar turning white and only the little icon visible. I could still open them but I couldn't see them. I rebooted I refreshed to no avail. Then I lost my sidebar altogether, I went into settings and even with the sidebar option ticked, it didn't bring it back and there's no sidebar icon in the top right. My only access to bookmarks now is the bookmark drop down menu top right but this isn't all my bookmarks and its really inconvenient to use. This is the first time I've had ever had a problem with Firefox in 15 years of use. Any input would be appreciated.

When i try to fullscreen youtube, there is a transparent border on the left and top of the window that will not go away normally. The only temporary fix I found was pressing win+d twice to get rid of it. This seems to be a reoccurring issue as this only happens on firefox and nothing else. This reddit post helped me. https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/13eguvp/please_help_transparent_video_border_when_in/

Please let me know how to fix this permanently. I have also tried firefox safe mode and that curiously didnt have borders but even when i went out of safe mode and disabled all my extensions and cleared my cache, it didnt work.

Ever since the "new" profiles were introduced (not to be confused with those you can access and edit via about:profiles - naming both profiles is immensely confusing tbh), the name of the profile you are currently using is added to the taskbar element. For example, if the support main page os your current open tab, the taskbar element will say: Mozilla Support- Profile name- Mozilla Firefox. I see no need for this, so I would appreciate an option to remove the profile name

Every time I go to use programs on my computer while on a Firefox session, when I return to Firefox, the menu that appears when I'd typically press the Alt key drops down. Every time. The only way I can get it to stop is by exiting out of the session entirely and reopening it. There is no option on my Firefox settings that can help me disable the action.

I have not installed or changed anything in my settings, it began happening suddenly, and has become an interruption in my workflow. Any ideas on what might have caused or what I can do to fix it?

I am using version 147.0.1 (don't know when last update) For the last 1.5 hrs I have been trying to restore the extensions icons as well as other, to the tool bar. when I close "customize" after putting them there they disappear, as does the "puzzle" piece I put up there. What is going on? I have read numerous articles on how to fix this to no avail. Only one character will stay to the right of the added search bar.

I somehow accidentally removed the Mozilla Firefox Header that has File, Edit, View, Help, etc.. I can not even check for the version of Firefox that I am running. How do I get it back without losing all of my tabs? I could not locate anything regarding this under the Settings area, where it should be located.

In firefox version 146, How do I change background color of the bar the tabs appear on? I don't want to change the tab color, but only the color of the toolbar where the tabs are located. I've tried several userchrome.css codes I found on the internet, but none of them work.
