Hi Dear,

I installed a new version of Windows 10 and unfortunately, I forgot to export my bookmarks locally but I already signed in to my firefox account with this email "******@outlook.com" to save and sync my bookmarks and etc. now I signed again but my bookmarks and extensions did not restore. I'll be grateful if you help me to fix it and restore my important data and bookmarks. Sorry for my bad English.

Firefox was working slowly, so I did a "refresh". This process was NOT supposed to delete my bookmarks, history, passwords, etc -- but they're all gone. I also tried to restore the bookmarks from a couple days ago but the browser said it couldn't access the file. Any ideas how to get this data back?!?

When I click on my bookmarks drop down at the top of the screen all my bookmarks & folders are listed twice, but when I add a new bookmark only the second set update. How do I delete these duplicate bookmarks?

I had to reinstall firefox on my desktop. All the bookmarks are still there, but the icons are all the same now.

Is there are way to cause the icons to be refreshed?

I recently signed in to my Firefox account in order to bring in all my bookmarks. The Bookmarks Toolbar was added, however, the websites' logo/icon doesn't show See attached. When I click on an icon it will open up the website and just then show the icon What can be the reason

i just reset my pc with ubuntu 20.04 , before reset its all working good means all bookmarks and other things , but after reset and format , when i logged in with my firefox account for bookmarks and logins , well i just see that not a one bookmarks or passwords i can see .

i tried to reinstall the browser, logged out and login, clear data of app etc options but i can not sync the data of mine (bookmarks and passwords).

i just frustrated here , because i think the browser is safe and good also secure, but after this , if i don't get any help to recover my data , i will lost my faith in mozila at all.

The pictue on the help page is not what appears now. I left Avast Secure Browser because they kept changing everything and messing with things that worked. Now with firefox if you click the library icon a little menu pops open and does not resemble anything like what is shown on the help page. I have attached a pictures of what I and talking about.

Hello, strange issue with latest mozilla on mac os el capitan - when i click on "bookmark this page" , box pops up and flashes and then disappears immediately. I cannot figure out what causes it. the bookmark box will not stay for me to fill it in. Please help! Gerald

I going to copy over Win 7 docs etc to a new Passport Storage unit Ext Side-Drive. I Saved FF bookmarks in my Win - 7 Doc Folder. When I start up my Win 10 new computer, will it migrate from the Ext Hard drive ok over in the Windows -10 Doc folder saved in my older computer and open ok to be pasted into the bookmarks dropdown on FF ? I had a lot of trouble going from XP to Win 7 last time with Firefox and didn't all move over for me.

I would like to import the stored bookmarks from my old Opera browser to my Firefox browser. When I go to 'Show all Bookmarks' under the Bookmarks tab, then select for 'Import and Backup', and finally select the 'Import Data from another Browser' my other older browsers are listed but Opera is not. How do I locate Opera then import those bookmarks? Thank you.

I often open URLs by clicking on them with my mouse wheel button. They open as a new tab in the background, just as configured in the settings.

However, when I do the same in the urlbar dropdown, the url opens in a new tab, but this tab gets focused. This is in particular annoying when you want to open multiple urls, because you just lost focus on the urlbar and need to open it up again, for the next one.

Is there a way to get the urlbar to behave just like everything else in Firefox and like the settings suggest?

I reinstalled windows on my laptop and I did not backed up my Mozilla bookmarks, because I have an account and I am signed in. Chrome stores everything under my account and restores it all (forms, credentials, bookmarks) into the new browser, when I log into my account, so this is why I did not back up in Mozilla.

When I reinstalled mozilla on the new OS, and logged into my account, my bookmarks are completely gone. Is there a database that could restore my bookmarks? I had hundreds of them, most of them using for work and it would be a tremendous help if I could recover them.

I tried accessing my account and see if there's an option to restore. No luck. I tried going to logins & passwords to see any settings that might help. No luck. I tried to search on other devices that I use, for Mozilla bakups. No luck.

Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Ever since I deleted my history, Bookmarks will not allow me to bookmark a page. When I click "Bookmark this page," nothing happens. The Star in the address bar is not highlighted and when I click it, it doesn't respond. When I checked my Preferences, everything is setup correctly. I don't know how long this has been happening, but I noticed it the other day. I have refreshed Firefox, and it didn't help. I have the newest version of Firefox. I only mention the deleting history in the beginning of the post for context. Thanks.

I am afraid to upgrade to latest Firefox browser because fast icons and bookmarks disappear. If you assure me it will conserve my quick links icons and bookmarks then I will upgrade.

When the firefox updated to this latest addition and had to set up profiles I lost all my bookmarks. How do I get them restored. Went through the profile section in help and nothing worked.

If I don't want the same Firefox bookmarks on every device, do I need to create different accounts for each device using Firefox?

I avoided creating an account because I didn't want one pc to override others. Now suddenly my office pc has had the bookmarks taken for ransom because I did not want what they were offering of syncing all my devices.

Will my bookmarks reappear if I create an account for that pc?

My Mozilla Firefox 77.0.1 about:config does not contain "browser.bookmarks.showRecentlyBookmarked" to manually reset recently bookmarked to off (false). Recently Bookmarked is grayed out on the Bookmarks list and cannot be selected by a right click. Is there a third way this can be turned off?
