In the last month I was a victim of an a scam which accessed my PC. I had to get help from a IT consultant. Unfortunatly, he omitted to set to re-install bookmarks.

To progress further I need ave my account details which I have forgotten . Can you assist me please.

Hi, I recently reset my Microsoft 11 operating system.The reset said before doing this would I would loose data, but I did anyway, hoping to improve operations. Now years worth of bookmarks are gone. Can I get them back? There is an icon on my desktop, "old firefox data" Thanks for your help

My Laptop OS was dead, I unable to syncing my bookmark on new windows-10 OS and logging with gmail account.

how can i get the syncing bookmark on my laptop.

can anyone help me. my bookmark is very important and up to date till last week.

My laptop windows was creached, after that i logged in on other laoptop but, unfortunatly the bookmark is not sync and showing/downloading after logged in. please look into this.

My book mark it was very old and using since 8 years almost as i remember.

In French ('English underneath) J'essaye d'organizer mes marque pages 1)Je tape sur supprimer, la page revient à la prochaine application 2)Je crée un dossier. Dans des versions anterieures de Firefox, on pouvait simplement bouger les fiches avec controle>fleche jusqu'a le dossier. (Il n,y avait pas le separateur <autres marques pages>) Avant l'essai de reorganization, <autres marques pages> contenait la plupart des fiches, les marques pages normales (bouton >>je presume) contenait seulement une demi douzaine choisis au hazard. Apres l'installation des dossiers, <autres marque pages> contient seulement les dossiers, bouton >> toutes les fiches. Il est impossible de transferer de bouton >> jusqu'a <autres marque pages>, afin d'incluire les fiches dans un dossier.

I am trying to organize my bookmarks. 1)I press the delete button, the page comes back next time I open the computer 2)I create a file folder. In previous versions of Firefox ,there was no separator between bookmarks (button>> I assume) and <other bookmarks>, and one could transfer a file into a folder using control and the arrow. Before I tried to organize the bookmarks, <other bookmarks>for some reason contained nearly all my files, the button >> only a few chosen at hazard. Having created file folders, <other bookmarks> contains the folders, button >> all the files. It is impossible to transfer from button>> into the folders in <other bookmarks>.

I used to be able to show speed dial bookmarks on my home page, as many rows as I had spd dial bkmks, like 30 or so. Now I cant even get speed dial to show anywhere anyway. I really want it on my home page, so when I launch FF or open a new tab, it auto shows all my speed dial bkmks. Please restore this functionality. We should not need some special extension to do this. It should be an option off the Settings tab

Every time I quit FF, FF crashes, or my Mac crashes, my bookmarks either disappear entirely, or the toolbar bookmarks and/or my "Other Bookmarks" folder disappear while leaving my main "Bookmarks Menu" bookmarks. When I tried to restore from json backups, I discovered that my last one seems to be from last October. So I used Time Machine to restore my FF user profile from March 1. This works, but then I go through the cycle I just described above again ... and again. New backups of my Mac do not hold onto the bookmarks when I restore FF user profiles made after March 1.

When I try to manually back up my bookmarks or export my bookmarks to an HTML file from inside the "Manage Bookmarks" window, everything seems to work, but then when I go looking for the file I supposedly created (e.g. bookmarks-2024-03-04.json), no such file exists in the location where I saved it and searching for a file with "bookmarks" in its name yields only bookmarks from other browsers and the old bookmark backups from last October and earlier.

Hi, I like to know how to transfer addresses to bookmark toolbars? I have the copy all addresses of bookmarks in the previous firefox. I transferred all, but they are in one bookmark, not in toolbars, or other bookmarks. I like to set the same as the previous bookmarks. Thank you so much for your help, Miyabi

I am using Windows 10 and have spent considerable time trying to recover my lost bookmarks after restoring computer to earlier time. I have followed 'help' guidelines but nothing works.

Firefox claims that bookmarks are saved to a backup profile but there is nothing in the folder.

These are very important research bookmarks collected over years!

I did a Firefox Refresh which messed up my toolbar and I lost an icon so I tried to restore computer to an earlier date which I have done successfully before without problem and without losing my bookmarks.

Please provide easy to understand step by step instructions on how to recover this vital information.

I like to keep shortcuts to my favorite, most often used sites on the New Tab page. One of them, to Yahoo, keeps disappearing, and is replaced by sites that I do not visit very often. How can I recreate a shortcut on my new Tab page to get me to Yahoo Finance?

I uploaded an image of my New Tab page as it currently exists. I used to have Yahoo where the "prime-genetics" shortcut appears. I want to get rid of that one and replace it with Yahoo. Thanks!

Citibank cannot access the online account changed pass word and it keeps asking me for the new password.

Citibank says Firefox has to be restored?

i install new windows and after installing when i log in to my account on firefox it dint backup my bookmarks and everything . i have so much important bookmark was saved and for over 6+ months effort . can anyone tell me how i can recover it or how can i contact firefox chat agent
