Unable to open bookmarks list. It has very important websites that I use and need daily; earthlink webmail, bank account, daily weather. Unfortunately, I am not computer literate. I feel totally helpless.

i have lost my Bookmarks folder and the bookmark function no longer works, since recently restarting. CAN ANYONE HELP ME TO RECOVER THE LOST BOOKMARKS OR HELP ME WITH THE ACT OF BOOKMARKING?

I have a pretty through bookmark system. I use folders a lot, and the little window that pops up presents too much confusion if there are a lot of folder already open from previous bookmarking. Is there a method to have bookmark manager open by default upon selecting the bookmark star and allow me to bookmark the current page? Is there a default setting that will open the small bookmark window with all folders closed? If not how do I go about making a suggestion to Mozilla to include this in their next upgrade.

I cannot find how to add a New Bookmark to an existing bookmark folder from the screen when I am visiting a Website I wish to Bookmark. Should be simple, but I cannot find out how to do it. There is no simple drop down menu that says ADD BOOKMARK and give you a choice of what folder to save it in. HELP !!!!!!!!

I recently updated Firefox on my computer. After that, I can't find my old Bookmarks.

Also I find that I am UNABLE to add any new Bookmark. When I click on the 'Star' in the browser toolbar, there is nothing. Before I used to Get the Add Bookmark tab and a place to SAVE, now there is nothing.

Even after I type in the URL in the address bar, and open up the required page, I am unable to Add it to my Bookmarks.

bold text I have been given a new firefox and this is so far out of what i need that i am about ready to call it quits -- where is my toolbar? All i have is some bookmark nonsense that has nothing to do with me or what i search for --

For about a month I've had to use Chrome because my bookmarks scramble or become unoperatable, then about 4 days ago they started saving again & all bookmarks worked fine. This lasted about 3 days then went back to becoming dead or wrong (may all say 1 or 2) sites I visit. a restart may lose any new bookmarks, & the rest of my bookmarks are either wrong site or dead links. How do I correct? I have tried new downloads & the new Firefox acts just like the messed up version. Probably a simple setting but I give up, can't find the solution. Any help appreciated. You have my permission to change any setting needed to fix Bookmarks. Thanks, James

Previous version, if I added a new bookmark, I would be presented with options on Where(Folder) and Tags. This is no longer offered, and bookmarks are just added to unknown within bookmarks Q. What has changed, and how do I get this option back?
