I wish to save my bookmarks in alphabetical order, first the folders and then any bookmarks that have not yet been allocated to a specific folder. This used to be possible as I gave reorganised the older bookmark folders are in alphabeical order previously. This seems to be no longer posible. I can reorganise them in View but cannot save them. Am I doing something wrong? Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance. text

Trying to bookmark a pdf, it's on the same location across my devices, but my devices have different usernames, so I added "%userprofile%" to the filepath so that it opens on any device. The issue is that when I enter this into the Bookmark URL bar, it automatically sticks "25" next to the % characters, which makes the bookmark unusable.

"C:\Users\%userprofile%\Documents\example.pdf" automatically becomes "file:///C:/Users/%25userprofile%25/Documents/example.pdf"

Also, as I just discovered now when I pasted this URL into this post, a second "25" is inserted, becoming: "file:///C:/Users/%2525userprofile%2525/Documents/example.pdf"

websites showing NONE of them are connected in firefox either in my bookmarks toolbar or the quick list of websites on the top bar, so therefore I can not open any webpages. Please advise.

I'm seeing an upper case white "P" and lower case white "f" inside a red box/square, in the left margin beside a bookmark. What does it mean? The specific website I bookmarked is Telus Mobility, My Telus. All other bookmarks look normal, with their own unique icons. "Possible fake"? Don't know how to screenshot it, so please don't ask.

Good day. I just noticed that saving a bookmark to an Amazon page shows the full address in the title of the bookmark now, instead of the description of the page. I checked and this does not happen on other sites, like YouTube, where the video title is still given correctly. This make it very hard to find the bookmarked Amazon items. Thank you for your help. Love Firefox! PS: I'm a Firefox "Power User" when it comes to Bookmarks. I have over 8000 bookmarks and regularly back them up. Why anyone would want import bookmarks and other bookmarks on the toolbar totally eludes me, given both live in the menu area. Can this be fixed in future updates PLEASE.

I just posted a question re: my pull-down bookmarks menu disappearing. I stated in the question that my bookmarks themselves weren't gone, just the menu. I stand corrected. They are indeed "gone", i.e. completely inaccessible.

After the last upgrade my bookmarks disappeared. What happened? Saved passwords too. History too. Also want to add that it is difficult to get support when needed. Maybe I need to go with Safari.

The bookmarks are constantly changing to where I can no longer use them. I'll bookmark them to a folder one day and the next day their URL and icon has changed and goes to a totally different site. What's happened? Using Foxfire browser

I am a member of the local library and I sometimes want to search the catalogue or reserve a book from home using my laptop. I have Googled how to put the menbership number and pin as a book mark and it is successful-but only for a short time . The next time I go to log on automatically it doesn't work and I have to input it manually.

I have been to the library and got staff there to put the details in and it works when I am there at the library but fails when I am home.(2 very capable library people tried and both eventually failed)

My library membership number is very long and it is tedious to enter it every time-can you help please? Thanks Peter

This problem has been reported over and over for over 3 years. Why should the solution be to turn off syncing?

In addition to preventing the problem from occurring, Firefox needs to provide a fix to eliminate duplicate bookmarks in bulk.

I KEEP HITTING ALTERNATIVELY :"dismiss" and "delete from history" but some i have to do it 40 0r 50 times before it stops popping back up

I have met this issue twice. Before I retired my old PC, I did click the "sync now". However, when I login in Firefox in my new PC, I found the bookmarks are very very out of date. Because my old PC was formatted, I lost my latest bookmarks in Firefox.

Could you help with this?

Hi My browser updated to latest version 100.0.1 but all my opened tabs are missing. And what is more important all my sync bookmarks are also gone. I can note restore any of sync data.

I downloaded version 101.0.1 and lost most of my bookmark TAGS! These help me find things in my many bookmarks. I've kept version 98.0.1 in my Applications folder (MAC Mojave 10.14.6) and it still has all my TAGS intact. I can't copy / paste or drag and drop them. How can I transfer my bookmarks TAGS?
