windows 10 is up to date firefox is up to date (137.02 64 bit) dark theme

there is no bookmark sidebar button at the right of the address bar

I am running firefox in 5 windows with at least 7 tabs each every time i exit, reopen of update it i have more that 35 Bookmark LEFT Side Bars to close IF i have the patience to close all of them WHICH NEVER HAPPENS... (this is happening since too long, I am pissed off...)

I searched, tried a couple of "solutions" to no avail

I installed new firefox and it did not work. So I downloaded older version of firefox that does work. But somehow it/I installed my Chrome bookmarks and not my older firefox bookmarks. Can anything be done?

When I creat a new bookmarks they are not automatically put in alphabetical order but instead are placed in the ned. Why not put them in order when they are made? Anyway, I tried to use the option that allows me to sort bookmarks alphabetically but nothing happens. This used to work but not now. I am using 137.0.1 (aarch64)

I am tired of clicking and scrolling and clicking and scrolling to find something I use constantly. It's fine to bury "settings" in a menu because I only use it once or twice. But things that we constantly use daily should be prominently displayed front and center. When I make a user interface I always make the daily use items as easy as possible. Rare use items can be hidden away in a submenu because it will only rarely irritate users, and in fact, if it can be destructive, it should be buried deep in the menu tree so you don't click it by accident.

Fix the nightmare you caused. You have destroyed my 72nd Birthday celebration and made me too disgusted to even go online any more. I have devolved from a strong, trusting relationship to downright HATE! TRUST BETRAYED IS TRUST DESTROYED!

There is a major a major problem with saving emails & bookmarks, based on another violation of the 1st cardinal law of IT to: NEVER EVER ASSUME anything!

When trying to save either an email or bookmark % you are attempting to find an existing subfolder or subcategory, the search does not wait for you to enter the complete names but starts searching on the 1st character. When you know the exact name of the place to save this is super irritating & you cannot find the subfolder or subcategory, so keep having to create new folders. because of this problem I now have well over 2,000 folders, subfolders, categories & subcategories.

The assumption that a user will only have a limited number of folders & categories is totally asinine, so fix this ASAP Please. Also this field does not allow pasting values into the field & must because when you know the exact name of the parent folder, but cannot paste thar name into this field, the USER is already cursing you for your stupidity!

Noe I know you guys monitoring this are not the develpers, but you have contacts with them, we do not have so pass this along!

Firefox bookmark file keeps adding all my bookmarks to the bookmark file. I have an unbelievable amount of bookmarks.

It keeps copying all of the ones in the Menu Bar many times to the end of the list in the Manage Bookmarks page.

I need to keep one copy of my bookmarks in the Menu bar but want to make sure I don't delete those.

Why are the same bookmarks multiplying in my bookmark file?

Hi, Currently, my Firefox 133.0's default behavior is to open bookmarks in the currently active tab when clicking on them. This is fine for some applications/websites but impractical for others. With webmail clients, IP surveillance cameras, or weather forecast sites this can become a real pain, especially if someone keeps multiple instances (windows) of Firefox open across multiple virtual desktops (as I do). I end up opening these sites over and over again in different tabs.

I'd like specific bookmarks to be opened in a new tab/window if and only if that site is not already open; otherwise, bring that particular tab/window up instead of creating a new one. How could this be achieved?

Traditionally when you bookmarked something you would get the choices oif where to save the bookmark. Now that option is gone.

Instead I have to Bookmark, then go back and edit Bookmark to the correct location.

Why did you change something that worked?
