On my last computer I had sync on and made sure to sync everything before I turned it in.

Now I set up my new computer and my bookmarks will not show up, as if they don't exist. I can't find any help anywhere as to how to make them appear.

Fix this crappy browser so your clients don't have to endure this needless problem...Every time Mozilla updates I lose my bookmarks. So frustrating! And YES I have viewed all the pages on Profiles, syncing etc and still I cant fix it. Why cant Mozilla make this my bookmarks process seemless.

Please help so I don't have to rebuild my bookmarks every time Mozilla updates

Hi I've got some top sites pinned to my homepage, but for some reason a decent amount of the icons won't appear even if I change the image url that they're linking to. Is there any way to fix this, I'm a very visual person so having icons makes it much easier to browse

Since, the update to 84.0.2(64 bit), my bookmarks toolbar has stopped showing the bookmarks that reside under the Bookmark Toolbar folder and it keeps on showing the message "For quick access, place your bookmarks h ere on the bookmarks toolbar.", even though I already have 10-12 bookmarks under bookmarks toolbar.

I want to import my mobile Safari bookmarks into Firefox on my desktop. I have read many articles on here but none of them have helped. I had hopes for this one(https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1285031) but it was unclear whether the user was on a Mac or PC.

I have already installed iCloud for Windows and the iCloud Bookmarks add-on in Firefox. I have supposedly performed the sync operation already, but nothing seems to have transferred. I have neither the Safari bookmarks in Firefox, nor the Firefox bookmarks in Safari(which I do not want or care about as Safari will be deleted when I am done with all this) I don't see any options to adjust any kind of settings in either program.

I very much would like to get this iCloud thing to work. If that continues to be unsuccessful, is it possible to create an HTML file from the mobile Safari bookmarks and import THAT into Firefox?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Icons for bookmarks imported from Chrome are not displaying properly either on Bookmarks Toolbar or in folders

• Windows 10 Professional PC (updated fully)
• Firefox 84.0.2 (64-bit)
• Chrome Version 87.0.4280.141 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Here is what I have done: 1. Installed Firefox (new installation) 2. Imported Chrome bookmarks - only 1% of bookmark icons display properly. All others are the segmented globe icon. 3. Installed DuckDuckGo Privacy Essentials, AdBlock Plus and Emoji extensions 4. Installed EverSync 18.5.7 5. Tested disabling all extensions: no improvement.

I display icons only on the toolbar to maximize accessibility of often used bookmarks, so this issue is important for me to resolve if I want to use Firefox regularly.

This is for my office PC. I do not have this issue at home running Windows 10 Home on desktop PC and laptop PC.

I got a new computer and am moving my profile to new computer(W10 to W10). The old profile is 464MB, mostly in Storage/Default 234MB I think this is a lot and want to slim it down. I want to keep bookmarks and have it auto recall previous sites I have visited. Can I keep the bookmarks and auto recall, but delete some of the files? These files are big also, places.sqlite, webappstore.sqlite, favicons.sqlite Thank you very much.

Hello someone, anyone. I'm trying to import Bookmarks from a Time Machine backup. I've looked everywhere and tried everything I know and I'm not new to computers, although I have not had to import bookmarks in a long time. I'm on an Imac Catalina, backup is on High Sierra, current OS is 10.15.7 Catalina, lost my bookmarks when I upgraded to Catalina because I had to do a clean install. Any help would be greatly appreciate and I may consider putting you in my Will. Robert

When I try to manage bookmarks, I get a confusing hierarchy of bookmark folders that shows the same folder in multiple places, and I can't open it to see the subfolders. It totally confuses me. Naturally, I tried Firefox Help.

When I go to Firefox Help, I don't know how to enter search strings to narrow searches. Anything I enter gets me hundreds of topics, including strings attempting to find out how to narrow searches. Encasing strings in quotes does nothing.

Right now, I need help managing bookmarks. For the future, I need to know how to use Firefox Help correctly. Thanks.

There is a new option to display the Bookmarks toolbar only on new tabs. When I enable this (Right click toolbar -> Bookmarks Toolbar -> Only on new tab), the bookmarks toolbar does not display at all. It only displays when I select Always, which was regular default behavior for enabling the bookmarks toolbar. I am on the latest version of Firefox, version 84.0.2, on the Windows 10 platform.

I shared my troubleshooting data in the option below, but I do not know if this contains information on my setup with the extensions I use. Please let me know if there is a way to show this.
