Hello,

I have version 143.0.3 (aarch64), running on a 2020 M1 mac. I did an update recently but I still have all of my bookmarks, that's not the problem. The problem is, although the space for the bookmarks toolbar appears when I click "always show" (and disapears when I select "never show"), I see nothing. Nothing shows up in this space and so I have to go menu diving to get to my bookmarks. Do you have an idea how to fix this?

recently, if i attempt to bookmark a URL, the dialog box to choose which folder to save to no long appears....the bookmark is automatically saved to the last folder used. i discovered that i can copy the url, open manage bookmarks, and paste into the desired folder...however.... I would like to change this back to allow me to choose from that dialog box. any assistance is greatly appreciated. thank you

Bookmarks Sidebar Automatically Opening. Please advise how to stop. Suddenly started happening once before [April 7, 2022], self corrected itself. Happening again [April 6, 2024]

No windows/tabs with bookmarks are open.

⬛ When using top menu bar to open a new window does not occur; ⬛ When using current window to add a new tab does not occur;

⬛ When right clicking Firefox icon in dock to open new window,

    New window opens with bookmarks open.

I have a folder with many bookmarks in it, and when I want to open multiple links in the folder but not ALL of them, I have to keep opening the bookmarks folder after middle clicking each link 1 at a time. I can't open the entire folder - there are 100+ and say I want to open 10.

Is there a way to keep the bookmark folder open while I open each link in new tabs?

After exporting bookmarks.html from Ffox on old computer, importing it to Ffox on the new one, all good, except that bookmarks toolbar shows on the imported list but doesn't display as toolbar.

Just as the summary says, Used to have an icon that I put under the "hamburger" menu on the bookmarks toolbar that opened the bookmarks menu. Can't remember how I got it there. Can someone help me get it back.

How do I add an existing 2nd email account to the Firefox Bookmarks. It keeps reverting to the my family account when I try to add a link to open an existing second email address

I asked this same question yesterday and a little while later, the horizontal bookmarks toolbar "magically" appeared. Now the toolbar is gone again. How can I find it and get it to stay at the top of my page? (I'm an 80-year-old granny/computer-dummy.) Thanks in advance for any help.

I've tried the "verify integrity" fix and got the results shown in the screenshot below. I've restarted my mac, I've shutdown and started my mac with a hard boot and the icons still show up like globes.

I would like to be able to store a bookmark in more than one location. I don't believe this is possible since when I move my bookmark, it gets deleted where is used to be when I move it.

Greetings Ya'll, Firefox Bookmarks are no longer being initially placed in "Other Bookmarks, they are now being placed in the "Bookmarks" that is under the "Open Application Menu" Tab.

I've found that the "New Bookmarks" can be "Dragged" as a copy to "Bookmarks", from the "Bookmarks" located in the menu, for they will stay there unless I delete them

I can not move the "Bookmarks" back to "Other Bookmarks"

Would I lose My Bookmarks, If I "Refresh" Firefox, as suggested in the "Troubleshooting Section? If there is a chance of this happening then that would Absolutely Be Catastrophic!!

The bookmarks on my taskbar are all of a sudden not showing up. I'm unable to drag them there like I used to. Also, the history and menu button on the upper right don't work now. I've restarted with no luck.

I have just bought a new computer. Got firefox working and I have bookmarks on the bookmarks tab below the search box.

I used to be able to move bookmark tabs along it and it was my main organisational method.

OR I would drag a url down from the search bar to put it on the bookmark tab below

neither of these methods work any longer and it is a real problem.

I cannot think of a worst thing you could have done.

Help how do i move a bookmark along the bookmark tab, or move a url to the bookmark tab, or move those bookmarks which I can't see to the visible section below the search bar

As of a few days ago whenever I start Firefox the window appears with the Bookmarks sidebar panel already opened. I click the "X" on the sidebar and it will close - until the next time I start Firefox. If I choose Menu->View->Sidebar->Bookmarks and uncheck it the panel will close - until the next time I start Firefox. No matter how the Bookmarks sidebar is closed, it will always reappear when Firefox is restarted. Even if I switch to some other sidebar, Bookmarks will replace it on startup.

I've searched about:config and found no setting which seems to control sidebar behavior on startup.

I assume this is the result of some recent update. Is there no longer a way to permanently disable the Bookmarks sidebar?

When we are going to get Library (Bookmarks) in this Firefox view tab (which doesnt have its local URL unlike Chrome)?

Like history (finally 😌) is in new tab unlike in new window (which is forced, not user managed), we need library for bookmark manager like Chrome or Edge has inbuilt. Even passwords aka logins category would be appreciated.

So lately can't save bookmarks anymore not even to anywhere, what happened with version 115 running windows 7? Tried even saving all bookmarks and still nothing, even extensions won't save bookmarks...
