When using DuckDuckGo Search I cannot drag and drop the search URL into my Bookmarks. I can drag and drop a Google Chrome search URL into my Bookmarks as usual. Also, the correct URL is not shown for the search using DuckDuckGo. See attached screenshot.

Please resolve.

Using Firefox ESR 115.30 in Windows 7 Ultimate, I routinely open multiple tabs, then, at the end of the day or session I'll bookmark them all into a new folder and close them all.

Later, I might return to that folder and choose to open say, 5 of the group. Is there a way to select all 5 (without opening any) and once I've finished selecting them, have all 5 open at once? Rather than just one at a time? So far it seems that I have to open them one by one.

Just now will not save a page to bookmark folder, even in trouble shoot mode. Know how to save. See pages in recently closed pages, but do not know what is the cause. Should I refresh, tried close and reboot system. Let me know some steps to analyze the cause and remove it. Thanks, but don't under stand the method to ge Troubleshooting Information.

After the Windows has just updated, the "Bookmarks" ribbon on top of the screen is unavailable. What can I do to get it back. The directions have just confused me further.

Hello. I'm having trouble with bookmark icons in my browser. Sometimes the icons show up, but sometimes only the globe appears. I've tried everything, including installing the "Bookmark Icon Loader" and "Bookmark Tab Icon Changer" add-ons, but it didn't help. Is there a way I can change them manually in the browser itself without any add-ons?

My bookmarks have duplicated and I didn't do anything except try to sync with my laptop and desktop. I tried the only solution I could find, the "verify integrity - Places Database" and that did nothing. If this can't be fixed, it's time to move on to another browser.

Up to several months ago when I tried to bookmark a website or YouTube video I had previously bookmarked a dialog box would come up asking if I still wanted to bookmark the website or YouTube video. What ever happened to that feature. I really liked it. Or is it a case changing some kind of setting to turn it back on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried restore under managing bookmarks, but it only give me about a week or two's dates as choices. I went back and it is still gone. I looked for an Old Firefox Data file on my desktop (or anywhere on my computer) and did not find that either. If I can't choose to add something to a category or to the tool bar, the bookmark function is not really helpful to me.

I cannot get Bookmarks to sort. If I got to Manage My Bookmarks I can sort by name but when I select Bookmarks from the top menu and scroll to a folder my sort is gone. How do I fix this? This is true of all folders I have.

My bookmark features has stopped working. When I click the star, it does not turn blue and I cannot bookmark anything. Is there a fix? I have stuff in the bookmark area and would not like to loose it.

version 145.0 problem with bookmark bar not showing when set on 'always on" setting. I have replaced the places.squlite folder with another one from a previous computer. there is only one profile available in the user lib on my mac os Tahoe and have done this replacement file numerous times in the past so don't know the the problem is. Any help would be apreciated.

I received a virus message alert that popped up on my screen. I then hit control alt delete and shut down Firefox, when I reopening it, my bookmarks were gone and not even able to add new bookmarks. An error message stating something like, another program is using the file keeps appearing. I'm able to log into a different computer and my bookmarks are there.

I turned off my Mac Mini 2 last night, February 7, and when I turned it on this morning, all my Firefox bookmarks were gone.

Everything else is fine (Chrome bookmarks, which are different from those in Firefox, remain intact). And yes, I should have known better, but since when a Firefox update deletes all bookmarks?

I'm guessing that is the reason, because everything else is intact.

Any suggestions as to whether there is ANY way to recover them?

I purchased a new computer, and they were to transfer all my stuff from my old computer, but they told me that my bookmarks are in a file that they cannot open. I would like to be able to get to them. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

Hello. Firstly I have NO troubles accessing the internet via Firefox (my Default browser). My problem is that none of my "saved" websites (including those appearing on the Bookmarks Toolbar) will open on the internet when I click on them. If I type the internet address into the address bar, the site opens as normal. I do not have this problem if I use Chrome. The problem only commenced today following an update by Norton via Norton 360. I have attempted all the suggestions that Norton have supplied other than re-installing Firefox - and none of their suggestions have solved my predicament. Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated to fix this most annoying problem. Thank you, Ron.

Hi, I have a lot of bookmarks that are specifically made to always open in a specific container.

After updating to 121 I'm always asked if I want to open the URL in a container.

How can I get rid of the question and just always assume "Yes"?
