I have a 2020 model MacAir with M1 chip, running Sequoia 15.6.1 and Firefox 143.0. When I bookmark a website, I no longer get the option to select which Folder to save it in. I have to bookmark the site, then edit the bookmark in order to place it in the right folder. Is there a fix for this problem? I've tried several times searching on the Help and Support pages but don't see anything. Thank you!

While organizing my bookmarks, I reassigned some labels to them, but I noticed some old, blank labels remained and couldn't be deleted or modified. I also experience this on another device, but the number of blank labels is different. I suspect the issue is more likely with local content.

ISSUE In the Bookmarks sidebar, bookmarks and folders can be erroneously moved or even deleted and get lost permanently.

SOLUTION 1. Provide an option to confirm bookmarks move/delete and folders move/delete. 2. When a bookmark or a folder is moved/deleted provide a popup window to alert the user which could just in case Undo the action.

FINAL NOTES Yesterday I Iost the Coaching folder which has been updated since 2011. I have lost 2 years of my life trembling. Eventually I have been able to find it in one of mine >200 folders. It has been moved erroneously.

Dear Sir or Madam, since one of the last updates, Firefox has been automatically creating a bookmark, this one, Growatt. I haven't visited the Growatt site in a long time, but more Growatt bookmarks are being saved to my bookmarks every day! I've removed Growatt cookies in the settings, but Growatt bookmarks keep saving automatically! Please suggest possible solutions; otherwise, I'll switch to a different browser. So the other day I spent hours deleteting old bookmarks (and bookmarks that have for some reason duplicated) from firefox browser, alongside tagging them and other housekeeping things but when I went back into the manage bookmark page all the things I did yesterday had reset so all the bookmarks I had deleted came back all the tags (but one) I made gone. So how do I stop bookmarks resetting to what they were?

After updating to v142.0.1 the Extension icons on the Address Bar and the bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar were not showing. Most of the Extension icons are now showing, as is an empty Bookmarks toolbar.

The bookmarks are till available in the Library => Bookmarks Toolbar but not showing in the toolbar.

A similar issue is raised in the Forum but seems to be for a different version of Firefox, where the menu items referred to are not the same as v142.

Closing and re-opening Firefox only shows the same problem. When a tab is opened and the URL is saved to Bookmarks Toolbar, it appears in the Library but not in the toolbar, which remains empty.

Is it possible to remove the block on bookmarks showing on the Bookmarks Toolbar?

I have 3 devices with the same Firefox account : a phone, a work pc and a personal pc. I don't have bookmarks sync on any of my devices. From my phone I can access (read only) my bookmarks from both my pc. It seems I can't do the same from a pc to another. Am I missing something or is the feature not implemented?

No bookmarks show in "All Bookmarks" or anywhere else anymore. The Bookmarks tab only shows a small portion, and when you go to "Manage Bookmarks" they all disappear. Settings? There does not seem to be any instructions as to how to access them and put them in folders like I used to be able to do. IMac with Ventura 13.7.7

The Bookmarks toolbar is not working since the last Firefox update on my Windows Desktop computer. Lost all the previously saved tabs and can't restore or resave. There is a message "FOr quickaccess, place your bookmarks here on the bookmarks toolbar. ''Manage bookmarks but all I get is an empty History pop up window.

I'm testing Firefox ADMX templates and I added some bookmarks under user configuration. Sure enough, the bookmarks appear in the toolbar when a new tab is opened but the bookmark buttons themselves have no favicons even though I filled the Favicon URL field in the GPO editor. Of course, the bookmark buttons display the favicons once the website is visited but they disappear if the cache is cleared. Is there a way to display the favicons on the bookmark toolbar without having to visit the web site? Or am I misunderstanding the setting?

How in bookmarks to move a folder accidentally moved into the bottom of another folder back into bookmarks?

Touching the folder with the cursor, pressing neither button on the mouse expands the folder to the left.

There are options to cut, copy, paste, but do not seem to work.

Hello Mozilla. Recently my wife and I have had a new experience with our bookmarks. When we display a list of bookmarks, part of the list runs off the page, so, we cannot see the complete list.

In the past, when we would request this list, if it was too long to display downward, it would then automatically shift upward, so that the entire list could be seen.

Has this feature been dropped or altered in anyway? Is there anything we can do to regain the feature?

We are using Ubuntu 24.04

Why is the icon of the bookmark constantly disappearing in the bookmark of PC world? I have repeatedly found that when I open the PC world page via this bookmark and some posts that this icon suddenly disappeared. The font of the bookmark remains and the sign is also functional but the icon is missing. With the DB browser I can restore the icon. But until the next opening of the PC world side, the game starts all over again. In Firefox 142.01 this is the only process. All other icons are stable. The icon always remains visible in my second browser Edge. I asked PC world. And they replied that everything is fine with their side. I therefore ask you to check that once. I don't understand why this is only the case with a PC world. I thank you in advance for a timely answer. Foto !! Manfred Günther
