I have some Bookmarks on my laptop. I have some of these Bookmarks (Not all) on my tablet, plus some other Bookmarks.

If I sync them, which direction does the sync work in? Will all my Bookmarks on my laptop now appear on my tablet (Which I do not want to happen)? Will all my Bookmarks on my tablet now appear on my laptop (Which I do want)? Will I end up with two copies of most Bookmarks, because all my laptop Bookmarks are transfered to my tablet, plus all my tablet Bookmarks are transfered to my laptop?

I cannot find any explanatioin of what Sync actually does.

I am trying to find answers in relation to my Favourites shorcuts not showing the Icon for some well known websites e.g BBC World News, CNN. Once answer found on the Firefox Forum is: Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own fonts.

Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Advanced: [X] "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of my selections above"

This is just typical of many answers I find on the Firefox forums whereby the suggested solutions seem to bear no resemblance to my Firefox system. Am I using something different? Everything points to me having the latest up to date version of Firefox. For example if I click on the four horizontal line hamburger on top right of the screen I do not see anything that begins with "Tools" in the menu options. I see "Settings" and "More Tools" but none lead to "Options>Content: Fonts & Colors> Advanced: [X]. simarly, If I click on "Tools" in the menu at the top of the Browser nothing leads to "Options". Any suggestions please?

Hi My browser updated to latest version 100.0.1 but all my opened tabs are missing. And what is more important all my sync bookmarks are also gone. I can note restore any of sync data.

I just posted a question re: my pull-down bookmarks menu disappearing. I stated in the question that my bookmarks themselves weren't gone, just the menu. I stand corrected. They are indeed "gone", i.e. completely inaccessible.

This problem has been reported over and over for over 3 years. Why should the solution be to turn off syncing?

In addition to preventing the problem from occurring, Firefox needs to provide a fix to eliminate duplicate bookmarks in bulk.

After the last upgrade my bookmarks disappeared. What happened? Saved passwords too. History too. Also want to add that it is difficult to get support when needed. Maybe I need to go with Safari.

websites showing NONE of them are connected in firefox either in my bookmarks toolbar or the quick list of websites on the top bar, so therefore I can not open any webpages. Please advise.

All the bookmarks at the top of the Firefox page have suddenly disappeared from view. How do I get them back in view? They are still there if I look under "Bookmarks," but not as accessible.

Running Firefox 108 on Mac OS Mojave, version 10.14.6. I did nt make any recent changes.

Recently I opened a video posted on one of my Facebook pages. A dialogue box came up saying that my computer had been infected by a trogan and to contact Microsoft to rectify the problem,. I immediately shut down my computer and waited for about 10 minutes On rebooting I scanned my computer with my installed apps Superspyware and Total Internet Security but neither of them advised me that a there was a trogan infection. However since that time my bookmarks have been taken over by FB paged who I subscribe to and don't allow me to access the original bookmarked URL Please give me guidance how I can rectify this situation

My Mac iOS updated and erased all my firefox bookmarks. I tried to log in and it created a new account instead of logging in to my firefox account. i need help recovering my saved bookmarks
