I just upgraded my version 48.2 to version 49.0 and found out that all of my saved logins to preferred websites is missing. Now I must try to remember usernames and passwords to at least 30-50 websites and recreate the list for future use. Is there anything I can do to retrieve those logins or are they lost in the upgrade process?

FF quantum version 60.0b8 (64-bit) loads well the web page of www.Dictionary.com.
In the page you have two options definition or synonims. By default the entry is for definition and there is no problem to change from one option to the other.
The problem is that when you enter the desired word there is no echo into the screen, and you see the cursor move to the next position, but the input field remains empty. However, if you hit the enter key, the page search the right word you enter and displays the proper definition or synonym.
This behavior, as far as I know, only happens in the web page of Dictionary.com.
Do you know whether some body else has this problem?
Appreciate your suggestions

If I open a new tab and type a url in or select a bookmarked page, or the quick navigation options for recently or frequently visited pages that shows up on opening a new tab, none will never load. The only way i can have multiple tabs work is to google the page i want, right click the link and open in new tab and google the next page i want to view. So for example to listen to some music on youtube and scroll through facebook, i would have to open firefox, search for youtube, open it in a new tab, perform a second search for facebook and open it in a new tab for them to load. The entire time i have been typing this i have been trying to load something from a bookmark and nothing has loaded yet. Using windows 10, firefox says version 56.0b9

previous.jsonlz4 shows as modified more than 2 weeks ago, and that's it.
I leave the computer on for long periods, upwards of 3 days at a time. Last night it was forcefully closed (that's on me, but it's irrelevant), and I opened Firefox as usual. Restored session and what do I see? Things I completed so long ago and none of my latest stuff.
recovery.jsonlz4 and its bak show the current session, which is the previous session, according to FF's session storage, but is not _actually_ the previous session.
I have it backed up, after a fashion, using Tab Session Manager, which doesn't restore vertical history of each tab (CAN'T, because of the new extensions API; frankly that's one part that I would've considered blocking the move entirely to WebExtensions as even before Quantum FF's session restore was entirely too hopeless without the session manager addon), I kinda need that history.
So, is there even anything I can do? Or is it all done and I should just down-grade till a power fault doesn't lose me information that it perfectly had in check? (given the recovery files are being updated, even after the crash FF surely had the latest versions of those to work from)

Hi, I'm currently on the 'beta' channel of firefox quantum ( Version 62.0b 16 (32-bit) ) for windows, for some reason..my login information for the lastpass password manager addon isn't saved. Everytime I open the browser I always have to re-login, when I use a different browser such as google chrome, my login information is always retained..why does this occur while using firefox ?? Thanks, David

I noticed recently that my browser looked odd when opened, it made my task bar at the bottom of the screen disappear. I checked my settings option and clicked on full screen, it showed it was turned on but the browser went back to normal, so when I turn full screen off the browser goes back to the messed up version. Then when on youtube, I want to make the video full screen but it no longer goes to complete full screen. the top of my browser page is still visible, like the address bar and tab bar and all that is still there. How do I fix this?

I use both Firefox and Chrome. When I use Google as my search engine in Chrome I never face the bane of submitting Captchas or being flagged as a spam bot.
But on Firefox I get these captchas regularly and they're killing me. Is there a way around them? Is there a way I can prove permanently to Google that I'm a trusted IP?
I suspect that this is a nifty way of Google driving users away from Firefox. If you hate these captcha traps why would you persist in using Firefox (their thinking, perhaps)?

During site testing and development, after a while, Firefox Inspector and Browser no longer updates css settings saved in my editor! Then when I switch browser, the fresh browser displays the page with the new settings. Why Is it so? And is there something I can do to ensure, the browser does not stop updating my pages with changed settings in my CSS?

I wrote an application that dynamically creates report and (using the printElement jQuery plugin) prints them to either a printer or to PDF.
$('.print-container').printElement({
pageTitle: $('div.edit-title').text(), overrideElementCSS:[ 'print_css', { href:'css/print.css', media:'print' } ] });
This has worked well for 5 years but, over the last weekend, even with the config set to print.print_bgcolor = true, no background colours or images are being printed any more. This happens with printing to a printer or to a PDF file.
i would like dark mode please
