Hello!

Currently, I have a network printer added to my computer. When I want to print something with Firefox (either a webpage or a PDF) and the printer is online everything works fine. However, when the printer is offline (turned off) the printing dialog stays on "Preparing preview". I tried waiting for over 5 minutes and the dialog keeps loading on "Preparing preview".

I tried replicating this issue in Chrome. Chrome just switches to another printer if the currently selected printer is offline. The remote printer doesn't even appear on the printers list if its offline.

I found this issue which describes the problem I'm experiencing, https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=427285 However, it seems that it wasn't solve.

Is there any way to fix this issue? Thanks

The RAM of my device is about 4GB, which is not a lot, but the performance of the browser is very correct and fast, but in some cases, when loading pages, the browser freezes for a short moment, this is a bit annoying. The next problem in the web developer version is that the writing indicator is displayed everywhere in the browser, especially on the home page, when you click it, you need to disable this item on the home page. The browser is visible. Finally, the RAM consumption of the device needs to be optimized and slightly reduced

I am working on development of a SaaS platform that will use a 3rd party chat bot for customer support. Enhanced tracking protection blocks the bot.

If I click the shield and use the toggle to turn off ETP the bot loads. So far so good. But we don't want our users to have to click the toggle every time they want support.

So I figured I would add exceptions to ETP. When I click the shield to see what is being blocked I see the bot URL. When I add the URL to the enhanced tracking protection exceptions whitelist the bot is still blocked. I also added our URL to the list. Still being blocked. I would expect to be able to see the bot if our URL and the blocked URL are both on the whitelist, but I don't.

Is the exceptions list working as intended and not meant to do what I think it is meant to do? Am I missing settings that I need to use differently? Any help appreciated. (Sorry, I can't do screenshots because we're still in development)

We have heard it before that the Addons can interfere with the proper functioning of Firefox. If there is a problem, than one of the first things to consider is to run Firefox without the Addons. What seems to be happening is that with each new version of Firefox, there is the possibility that one of the Addons will become problematic. The Addon called "Firefox Color" would hang up the Firefox Browser when it was first opened. I have the Bar on top set to certain shade of Blue, and the Browser would start with the wrong color and takes several minutes for the right color to appear. Meanwhile the browser would be hung up and non functional. I would wait several minutes and could not browse. Firefox was waiting for something to initiate and became nonfunctional during that period. After several minutes I would shut Firefox and reopen, and get that ANNOYING MESSAGE... Firefox is still open. So I am trying again and again to get the Firefox to enable, and finally the Bar on top changes to the selected shade of Blue and is working again. So what did I do? I disabled "Firefox Color". So I no longer have that problem.

I only have one window open of Firefox, but multiple tabs open in that window. The primary monitor properly displays that only one window is open, however the second monitor shows that there are multiple windows open. Although this COULD be a Windows issue, I haven't seen it with any other programs, which is why I'm reporting it here.

I have alerts.useSystemBackend set to true, so that notifications received by tabs that send notifications are displayed as system notifications instead, so they won't disappear after a while and instead are displayed in the notification center. Is there a way to not show the content of the notification, maybe even hide the source website? https://assets-prod.sumo.prod.webservices.mozgcp.net/media/uploads/images/2023-02-07-01-02-18-973853.png Firefox Beta 110.0 Windows 10 21H2 Build 19044.2486

Hi, I'm using my personal Firefox account at work, but would like to only sync passwords and open tabs. When I change the sync settings in Firefox at the work computer, the corresponding sync settings are also applied to my private devices (Windows PC, Android tablet and phone), meaning my bookmarks, history and everything isn't synced between my private devices. However, I'd like to keep synchronization on for everything on all private devices, just not for the work pc except for passwords and open tabs. Isn't there a way to have device specific synchronization settings when logged into the same account? Or is it that whenever I change which items to sync, it gets applied to my Firefox account and therefore is applied to all devices I'm logged in? Sorry if I worded it weirdly, let me know if there's something hard to understand in my text. Thank you!

In the past week or two I've noticed that minimizing the browser and re-opening it after some time has passed(it's probably more than 5 minutes but haven't found the exact timing) -- the browser enters full screen mode (as if I've pressed f11). This happened in multiple websites so it seems unrelated to the website(although I did only try it in Netflix and YouTube so maybe something to do with videos?) My version of Firefox - 111.0b5

hello guys I need help with this problem in firefox developed edition

Specifically, when I use the Inspector panel to inspect elements on a webpage, the selected elements are outlined with a blue border instead of being filled with color. This is making it difficult for me to visualize the layout and styling of the elements, and I would prefer to have them filled with color instead.

I have tried to find a solution on my own by searching online, but have not been able to find a clear answer. Could you please advise me on how to change the settings in Firefox Developer Edition so that the Inspector panel highlights elements with a fill color instead of just an outline?

When watching youtube or even doing a little task with only one tab the cpu usage from a specific firefox process goes upto 90%. And I have did everything that was given in the following troubleshoot method "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-uses-too-much-memory-or-cpu-resources" but still the same result. I tried with troubleshoot mode on with disabling all extensions but the cpu usage was still high. I have also checked with firefox's own task manager tool but there wasn't a single process that was using full cpu. I'll be attaching all screenshots below.

I'm having problems streaming live video on srf.ch (Swiss public television). The whole tab becomes unusable after streaming for a few minutes. Playback just stops and it's impossible to reload or navigate to a different address using the same tab.

This happens with a clean profile using two different computers with very different hardware. I'm able to reproduce it using Firefox 111 and 112, but not with Firefox 110. It doesn't happen in Chrome.

Unfortunately, I couldn't report it as a web compatibility bug. The person reviewing the issue wasn't able to access the streams due to geoblocking (VPN doesn't help). They asked me to provide additional information such as console logs. But even the console stops working when the problem occurs and there are no error messages before that.

Is there anything else I could try to help diagnosing this issue or is it a lost case?

Hi, I use the Firefox Developer Edition for Windows Desktop (112.0b4 (64-bit) on daily basis. When I play the Udemy DRM content nothing goes wrong first and the browser loads the page well. But after some time passed I see that Firefox stops to load the page and the tab spinning infinitely. Pressing the realod button doesn't help. The only solution is to restart the browser. I use no-proxy setting. The refreshing of the browser didn't help either. I have configured the following options in the "about:config" but it didn't help as well: network.dns.disableIPv6 : true network.dns.disablePrefetch : true network.http.http3.enabled: false
