When Firefox (130.0) presents the message: "Still not able to restore your session? Sometimes a tab is causing the issue." when Firefox starts, Firefox should help the user by identifying the tab(s) that caused the Restore Session to fail.

I couldnt open firefox. I keep getting the error message "Couldnt load XPCOM"

I tried system restore with no luck. I have hundreds of bookmarks and they are now gone.

Any suggestions?

Having Browser issues I am using windows 7 professional 64bit . On Oct 20th it worked perfectly using 115 however today and most days before the 20th of Oct. it would say " Internal Server Error"

Hi, I accidentally did a refresh on my Firefox (Win 11) and therefore I now have an "Old Firefox Data" folder on my desktop and Firefox is completely almost back to stock.

I have lost all extensions, customizations, settings and other configurations. Luckily, I had taken a backup of my bookmarks prior to doing this.

How do I return everything (including extensions) back to pre-refresh state?

Hello, I've gone through numerous posts on recovering browsing history and tabs in Firefox, but nothing has worked so far. I had two Firefox windows open with over 80 tabs (I know, not ideal!), but I manage several businesses and had important data in those tabs that I really can't afford to lose.

I’m looking for a Firefox expert who can help me recover my old tabs and browsing history, but I haven’t been able to find any paid experts. I’m using a Mac, and unfortunately, my Time Machine wasn’t backed up, so that's not an option.

I’ve already checked under the profiles and tried everything I could find, but is there a way to recover corrupted or deleted files? For context, Firefox stopped working properly (I think I messed it up while trying to fix it)—it would open but remain unresponsive—so I had to reinstall a fresh version. Is there any hope of recovering my history, and where can I find an expert to assist with this?

I had to factory reset my computer and when i re-downloaded Firefox and logged in my bookmarks where no where to be found. I've look through some the the fixes and they don't seem to work is there anyway to recover my bookmarks?

Hi, I have a laptop i use for work and a PC at home, both use Firefox.

At home I am signed into a FF account, but on my work laptop i've never signed into FF before. I had lots of work-related bookmarks.

I recenlty signed into FF on my work laptop, in order to make sharing tabs to my home PC easier. Now all the local bookmarks I had in FF from before I signed in have been replaced with my bookmarks from my home PC.

How do I recover the bookmarks from before I signed in? Going forward, is there a way to organise different bookmarks on 2 different devices while signed into the same FF account?

I am looking for some bank statements that I downloaded a year ago and they have disapeared I can't find them any more, I didn't delete them as I need them. How can I find them or restore in downloads?
