My Firefox for multiple profiles. After opening one and downloading emails it freezes after a minute or two. I have been using Firefox for years, I am using it on a desktop Windows 11 Pro- version 140.60esr. I have donated to Firefox for a number of years. I have gone into the profile and deleted the extension .msf. It did not correct the problem is still freezes. How can I fix the problem. Many thanks.

The browser is very slow when opening a new tab... When I've opened Youtube it says that the Page is slowing down the browser and it takes a very long time to respond... I'm using MacOs Monterey 12.7.6 and I believe my Firefox is up to date

Every 5-10minints I get white screen for 2 to 30sec when I use the firefox browser. On my steam deck, from time to time, the firefox's touchscreen support seems to switch modes.

The symptoms are:

- Instead of scrolling, one-finger touch-and-drag now zooms in and out (depending on direction)
- The touchscreen no longer lets me select or close tabs, or focus or click in-page widgets
- This mode-switch is restricted to the firefox window in which it happens
  - Moving the tab to a new window results in the new window working fine
  - Other existing windows are unaffected (although they may later experience a touch mode switch  event)

I have yet to determine what triggers this switch, nor can I figure out how to undo it.

The screen on the monitor flickers when I clip on the page. To stop it from flickering is to click outside the page which means I cannot use the full page. currently I'm using window 11.

after the mentioned update about a week ago, I experience quite some system slowness. Building up new pages takes between 30 and 60 seconds each, and some live streams are interrupted (3 seconds running, 3 seconds stop, 3 seconds running, etc.). This has never happened before. My Internet connection is good (confirmed by the provider), and using Google Chrome, all is as it should be, no slowness, no disruptions.

Can anybody advise, what the cause(s) could be, and how to solve these issues? Please let me know, if you need more information.

I really would like to continue using Firefox.

Bogged down, slow: Win11 task manager(TM) shows more FF browsers than reality. Have 11 FF browsers in use but TM says 55 climbing to 77.... numbers vary up & down! but never accurate to what is in use. Attempted fixes: cleared cookies, ' Refresh', uninstall/reinstall. Troubleshooting Information: Application Basics said "Profile folder" click "Open Profile' for FF ...but no FF in that list. Tried 'clear Startup cache' and it jumped to 82 after... so worse. How do I get a true number of browsers open and not these 'extras'. Thanks in advance..

I cant open a new tab from any links at all. I cant copy an paste inside the browser AT ALL. My cursur looks like its about 25px off true. please roll this patch back ...why do they continue to allow engineers or coders to break it when it works fine?

Hi. I have had an ongoing random problem on videos sites where while scrolling, about half way down page it will suddenly have a seizure, stutter, causing multiple copies of the window to jump up and down. If I "slowly" scroll back up to the "quiet" area (midway to top of screen) it will behave normally. I try and watch the video I had been watching when it went nuts, happens again. I 'think' I got by it the other night...somehow I don't think it was me, rather it just happened to snap back into place. It had been happening more frequently several months ago where it was a real problem, went through all the normally accepted ways of cleaning, checking and hunting for others having a similar problem. The latter is where I have normally found the best and most recent inquiry similar to mine. Good part is it's fast and I know it's not just me. Bad part is it's fast and nobody has had time to answer it. Then it suddenly just stopped. In fact, I had forgotten about it! The bane of my daily computer life for weeks was suddenly gone and I forgot about it???? Well, it reminded me today, it's back. Any suggestions? I had thought it was with some Microsoft changes that had been going on and that had seemed to be the consensus but? Thanks in advance.

I've disabled extensions, changed settings, and reinstalled multiple times, but Firefox won't quit stuttering constantly. Other browsers work fine on my computer, and Firefox doesn't seem to be using much memory.

Whenever I wake my mac from sleep, Firefox is unresponsive. I believe the app is not dead, just not repainting the window. Sometimes if I 'hide' Firefox window behind some other app window, then bring it back to top, it'll re-paint.

For a while I fixed the issue by disabling GPU usage in firefox. But now, even that isn't helping. Then for a while, removing and reconnecting the USB-C connection to my external monitor would fix it, but now that doesn't help.

Have to quit firefox completely and relaunch. Then the app is working again.

Technical issues After update. I have two computers both of which some problems since the latest Update in February. The microphone won't work on certain apps. One of my extensions are operating as expected and Firefox is not closing all the way or so it's reported. When I go to open up again a new session, it says it's already open but not responding. I have the option close it and then starts right up.

There is a bug which was reported 3 month ago https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1959157. It appeared out of nowhere and I don't even know if it was fixed since then. But it is bugging me a lot, no pun intended. Any help would be appreciated.

My computer (pc-windows 10) keeps freezing. Today, when this happened I launched Task Manager and discovered Firefox had opened 68 instances (I had one window open) and was using up 100% of my Core i7 CPU. I was on YouTube at the time.

I'd like to stay with Firefox as I have been using it for years, but this is happening all too often. Is there a way to limit the number of instances that it will generate?

In recent months, performance has dropped sharply and I have been unable to resolve using the advice in Help and seeking guidance. I attach the Troubleshooting Information, and a screen shot of me attempting access my Amazon account - 15 minutes and counting.

I have tried multiple options including:

• removal of 25% of software files
• removal of add-ons
• Firefox Safe Mode (no improvement)
• Following performance Troubleshooting guide (e.g. history, caches etc)
• Third Party software (CCleaner Pro) to check Drivers and Software (all up to date)
• Check of SSD Status (92% reported by Windows)
• Task Manager reviews

Seeking your advice and guidance on resolving this (now) painful experience.

Roblox was blocked on my device and I wanted to get it unblocked and play it on Infrexa with Firefox. I already followed steps mentioned on the official webpage: https://www.infrexa.com/now-gg-roblox-login-and-play-roblox-unblocked-on-your-browser so please don't advise similar troubleshooting methods.

Now I am able to play roblox but the problem is that when I play the Roblox through "Mozilla Firefox" it shows an error "Firefox is already running but is not responding" and then becomes unresponsive when pressing refresh button, the fan gets faster and device heats up with too much hanging. But when I open the Roblox through "Chrome" it comparatively works good and asks for login details and after redirection it allows me to play Roblox Unblocked without any issue. "Roblox unblocked" here simply means a technical sense, meaning “not crashing” or “free from software or network errors and or browser malfunction".

I have been using Firefox for a long time and my passwords and user ids are saved in the browser so I want to continue using "Firefox" as default browser but I am having the issue in playing roblox unblocked and other games through Firefox browser. I think the current issue that I have started facing is especially after a recent windows update.

I also tried many other gaming platforms like Official Roblox.com, Now.gg Roblox, easyfun.gg and web.cloudmoonapp.com but all of them faced same issues on Firefox while running ok on Chrome.

I am currently running Windows 11 (25H2 Licensed version). I want to play roblox unblocked on my device using Firefox (updated). My parents have already allowed me to play Roblox and I am playing it on my own device and internet connection. Please fix the browser issue and unblock Roblox for me. Please also check my browser version against Windows 11 compatibility if possible.

If you fix this issue for me, I will be grateful to you.
