I clicked on the Google icon and got a screen that said "Gak, that site just crashed" Has been happening periodically with other links. If I restart the computer the problem disappears so I can ask you for help Thanks

Im experiencing crashes in and out of troubleshoot mode, often several in a row. The drivers on my device have no futher updates and Im unsure what to do. OK, I have never had this happen with Firefox before but it will just freeze, then do nothing then Explorer will crash, every time. I have no idea why its doing this, my drivers are all up to date, Windows is up to date and theres no viruses on my PC. Its annoying.

Every day when I try to open a new tab in Firefox, whether by link or directly, I get the error message "Gah, Your tab just crashed." I have used Firefox as my primary browser for 10 years. If I reboot the computer this solves the problem, but I am not going to do this every day. All the other browsers work. This just started five days ago and I made no changes to Firefox. Help!

I've been suffering from crashes constantly for about two weeks or so, maybe more before I started to feel like something was wrong. I've tried everything on the list as far as I can tell.

Firefox is up to date, windows is up to date, my gpu is up to date, and my security is up to date.

I've scanned for viruses and such, nothing.

I've checked for third party modules, nothing.

I've run in trouble shooting mode and it crashed even faster than without.

The only thing I haven't done is checked my ram, and that's only because I feel like if the ram was the issue I'd be having other problems. Maybe that's foolish to think, I'll go back and try that if necessary.

Why is this browser crashing after a couple of downloads using the extensions for youtube downloader?i have youtube premium but when i download tunes so i can mix them after roughly 15 mins i have to force quit Firefox ?

Every day when I try to open a tab I get the message, "Gau. Your tab just crashed." I have to restart my computer to solve the problem. All the other browsers work. Anyone know how to solve this? Thanks in advance.

Note:Translation of questions from DEEPL Laptop system version: Windows 10, 21H2, 19044.6093. Firefox version: 141.0.3 (64-bit) The laptop has 16GB of RAM, an AMD 4600H processor, and a GTX 1650 graphics card.

When opening web pages in Firefox (this time it crashed after opening three regular pages), there is a chance it will freeze with a white screen and display a “not responding” pop-up window, while also causing the system audio driver to malfunction. Clicking the speaker icon in the bottom-right corner takes a long time to display the volume slider, but the slider cannot be moved, or adjusting the volume does not produce any sound. Forcing Firefox to close and reopening it also causes it to freeze. The only way to avoid the white screen and unresponsive state is for Firefox to automatically detect the crash and prompt whether to open a new page. The audio driver issue requires restarting the computer to resolve. So what is the underlying issue? How can I report this bug to the official team for analysis and resolution? If it's difficult to resolve, I'll consider switching to the ESR version of Firefox.

(Annoying past experience: This situation has occurred several times before when using Firefox. At that time, I had 2-3 web pages with videos open, mainly video websites, and the speaker icon was directly crossed out with an X, causing the computer desktop to crash as well. The computer became extremely laggy, and the Task Manager and security options were difficult to open. After restarting the computer, Firefox automatically reopened the previously unclosed page, causing the desktop to crash immediately upon startup, entering a loop. It seemed that even Windows Safe Mode didn't work, and a forced upgrade to a major Windows version was required to resolve the issue, followed by reinstalling a bunch of software.)

I've done all the troubleshooting I could find, including: Uninstalling, tried using beta ff, disabled hardware acceleration, disabled/removed all extensions, memtest, updated various drivers. Still frequent tab crashes Tried two other browsers and neither of those had any issues. No crashing on edge or duckduck. Currently using a nightly build, tried ff safe mode, tried pc safe mode, still crashing.

Posting because latest crash report had something new in "Crashing Thread" portion of the report and no more people looking at previous post.

Every time I am using Firefox to login to an app that requires a passkey (which is many now), it says I will be asked to provide my passkey and no window pops up.

The browser freezes and I have force quit it.

Judging from other comments and questions, this appears to be a bug. Please fix it as it renders Firefox unusable.

Hey folks, I recently installed a new NVME, clean Windows install, clean Firefox install. Recently I've had seemingly random crashes on tabs, happened a lot with YouTube and seems to happen fairly consistently if I go to my watch history. Other sites seem okay, everything else seems to be working fine, checked my drive, my RAM. This Firefox install is using my Mozilla account for passwords and themes. Included a recent crash report if that helps. Thanks if any of y'all can help

This morning, Firefox updated automatically to Firefox 144. However, this update completely broke Firefox; every tab crashed, and I couldn't even use Firefox to get to this help site.

Edition Windows 10 Enterprise Version 22H2 Installed on ‎03/‎25/‎2022 OS Build 19045.6332

Changing my OS is not an option for me; those decisions are made far, far away. I was allowed to use Firefox instead of Chrome. Sadly, I have to switch over to Chrome today in order to work.  :(
