Been having tab crashes every couple of minutes - doesn't matter what the site is, the tab will crash out and I'll have to refresh. I have a laptop that is synced that I also use that doesn't have this issues - it's isolated to the PC.

Tried sfc, DISM, hardware and memory checks - all come back good. I'm inclined to believe it could be something on the operating system and not hardware, but I also recently reinstalled Windows. I had another thought that it could be something with JavaScript (seemed like a common theme in the error reports, but I'm not 100% what I'm looking at or for).

Hello, Firefox has been giving me some troubles lately and I can't figure out how to resolve the problem. Since I haven't found any way to consistently reproduce crashes, it is very hard for me to tell if Troubleshoot Mode also experiences the crashes, and the time I can spend doing that is very limited. As previously stated, it is very inconsistent, but relatively frequent, sometimes it crashes very soon and several times in a day, others it doesn’t at all. Sometimes it crashes with several tabs open, sometimes with only one; sometimes it crashes while using a webapp, others it does so on the newspaper page. It might be more frequent while there are Electron Webapps open, but it's more a hunch than anything, since sometimes it happens without those. In past 2 days I've experienced Firefox randomly closing all open firefox windows and then bringing them back after a brief delay. There is no mention of an update or other reason while this would occur.

Beyond My Experience. As I Bring up Firefox Upper Right Flag Yo Update Firefox. IF I DISMISS, TROUBLE STARTS. FOR NO REASON ACCUWEATHR APPEARS. IF I X Firefox Shuts Down. Instead to Remain Online, I have to Use a Bookmark and Continue. Not in My Bookmarks, How Can I Stop That Annoyance Pop Up. Thanks, Joe

A few moments after opening Firefox, (on an Acer Spin 5 that is up to date) Il loses connection along with all other Firefox open tabs, all on its own. When retrying on Firefox, a message appears saying that it is unable to retrieve the prior session. What is causing this and how can it be fixed?

Whenever I try to click the upload button it freezes, it doesn’t even open Finder it just gives me the spinning wheel and then I have to force quit. But strangely if it gives me the option to drag the file it works fine.

I'm on Big Sur 11.7.11 if that helps. I saw a very similar post but it was posted in 2018 by pinwhale.

Dragging and Dropping folders to upload on dropbox.com have worked flawlessly before Firefox 150.0

Now in Firefox 150.0, dragging and dropping a folder will result in the tab crash.

I am not a computer nerd I can only describe what is happening. I am addicted to puzzles and do them every day but am encountering problems nearly every day this week of the puzzle pieces not responding to mouse and have to shut down the computer. At other times I am kicked out of the site and returned to my desk top. No amount of trying to then get back into firefox is useless until much later on. Why is this happening?

Browser shuts down within 10 -20 seconds of going to a website, and I get a crash report which I have clicked to forwarded each time to Mozilla.

Also have a new error message at the top of the browser that says: "The security sandbox is disabled. Your configuration is unsupported and less secure." (image attached)

Not sure if that is related or not.

I have downloaded Firefox through the official website and I have installed it through the terminal for Chromebook's Debian Linux.

I have a Chromebook c214ma with a Intel Celeron 4020 with 4 GB ram every single browser on my machine works properly just Firefox keeps closing and crashing

I am experiencing a recurring issue with Firefox on Kali Linux.

Environment:

- OS: Kali Linux (running inside Termux on Android) - Connection: VNC (RealVNC) - Device: Android phone (low RAM) - Desktop: XFCE

Problem: Whenever I open Firefox, tabs frequently crash with the message: “Gah. Your tab just crashed.”

What I already tried:

- Disabled hardware acceleration - Disabled recommended performance settings - Ran Firefox in safe mode - Created a new Firefox profile - Lowered VNC resolution - Restarted the system

The problem still persists.

I believe this may be related to graphics rendering or memory limitations under VNC/Termux.

Please advise if there is a workaround or configuration that can prevent this crash.

I wasn't sure what to select for the type of question so you can move it if you think another type would be better. I would have selected crashes but that isn't an option.

It happened again a few minutes ago while watching Star Trek First Contact. The Phoenix was about to go to warp and Firefox CTD with no crash reporter and when I looked in about:crashes there was no crash report. This exact situation happened twice while watching the movie Signal unknown or whatever the title is.
