I downloaded the Ad-Aware Security toolbar about a year ago. Firefox accepted it. It showed. And it functioned, correctly. Then, suddenly, it disappeared. It did not show on my homepage or any page. It disappeared also from the list of extensions.

I uninstalled it and re-loaded it. Firefox accepted it. But again it did not show, though Firefox said it showed. I repeated the process twice more. Still the same problem recurred.

Then I uninstalled Ad-Aware itself and the Ad-Aware toolbar and reloaded a newer version and also loaded the Ad-Aware toolbar again. And again Firefox accepted the toolbar and said it was active, but the toolbar did not show. Where I say Firefox said the toolbar was active or that Firefox said it showed, I mean this: When I right-click on the toolbar area at the top of my home page or any page, I see Ad-Aware toolbar checked, just as I see checked my AVG safe search toolbar. The AVG toolbars actually shows as a working toolbar. The Ad-Aware does not show.

This is the second time I have reported this problem. Firefox did not respond the first time.

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at famousadage.com.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.

If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is....

Anyway, it takes you to go.daddy where the site has been parked. How can this ad be gotten rid of because when I first saw the ad I wasted sometime because I thought it was a advisory regarding my Firefox browser. OK How do we get rid of this ad?

I am getting these popup ads that are signed ads by offerswizard. I have tried refreshing Mozilla to uninstalling and reinstalling new. No good. None of the popup blockers I have tried have worked. The different antivirus/malware software do not seem to see them as a virus or malware. (kapersky, mcafee, microsoft essentials, iobit asc/malware, plus some of the free ones available. Any help on how go get rid of this. I have gone as far as restoring my laptop several times and no go. Using Asus, windows 7 home.

When using Firefox, Yahoo often cuts in, usually with a DNS complaint, and won't let me connect. I don't use Yahoo. I continually strip it from the list of possible browser search choices, but it keeps coming back to the list, and makes itself my browser of choice. I keep correcting this, and it keeps coming back. It is causing me to have to use another browser most of the time, though I would prefer not to. Please tell me what I can do to prevent Yahoo from trying to control my computer!!!

My Firefox is 39.0, and my Mac 10.7.5. I believe Flash Player may be involved (maybe not) and that is version 18.0 r0, which is not allowed to act unless I tell it to.

I have deleted "crazy score" from my computer but it didn't help. I uninstalled Firefox and the ad went away. I then re-downloaded Firefox and opened a web page and there it was "crazy score" So I uninstalled Firefox again. It doesn't happen with any other search engine or program.

In Blackboard I need Firefox to not open a new tab. Before the last update it was fine, but now when I click on a new choice (i.e. the grade book) it always opens a new tab. My Bb administrator says it is a browser issue. I can right click to open a new tab, but there is no choice not to open a new tab.
