When I click the Firefox icon in order to start the browser, it appear a window asking me to select the profile I want to use. Then I select my profile but the browser stop working and a message appear which is listed below. It also appear a message of an unknown script and and option of continue to see if it completes or to ignore. But if you click continue the script or ignore nothing happened. How do I solve the problem in order to recover all the set up of my profile, including bookmarks...

This is what I get when I try to uninstall persona add ons. I can't open add ons even in safe boot. This started when I used a Corvette persona.

Added a couple of personas to my browser. Initially they showed in the proper browser area (in the menu, search and navigation area). I put the system into sleep mode (Windows 7 home premium) and upon waking the system I noticed the persona had disappeared and the browser returned to its standard/default appearance. When trying to reinstall the persona (any one) it now appears in the "slit" (for lack of a better word) between the word "Done" when web page is completed loading, and the horizontal scroll bar. Yeah... that little area right there!

When i try to end task it, i noticed a firefox "plugin container.exe" process.. So i figure it might be a plugin problem? I hope someone can help me with this.. I recently installed Mandriva-springs 2010.1 64 bit os. Inspite of putting the flash player plugin so in /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugin folder it does not work. There is no folder for plugin in /usr/lib/mozilla/. How ever all other plugins are working from the folder /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugin

When I "expand threads" on livejournal pages, Firefox freezes and I'm repeatedly sent the error message: chrome://adblockplus/content/utils.js:90 . It doesn't matter if I chose "stop script" or "keep running script", it still keeps freezing.
I've googled the problem, but I couldn't find a solution for it anywhere.

When it all loads it locks my computer up totally. I cannot x out of anything. Just kind of "thunks" with a dead sound. My facebook applications runs better on Firefox but I can't seem to get it downloaded alone. What am I doing wrong? I do not want the speed dial for sure. Don't know about the Xmarks.

In an attempt to resolve the problem, I followed the instructions for "Unable to install add-ons" in the support Knowledge Base, specifically the section titled "Corrupt extension files" (https://support.mozilla.com/sq/kb/Unable+to+install+add-ons#Corrupt_extension_files).
After restarting the browser as directed, the add-on ("TryAgain") was still unable to be downloaded. Also, when I checked my currently installed add-ons, I found that some were now "Not compatible with Firefox 3.6.8" - they had worked before deleting the files and restarting the browser, and their download pages currently show the add-ons as being compatible with my version of Firefox.

Firefox tries to start. I get a window that the selected website cannot be found. Then update window pops up showing various versions of JAVA needs to be loaded. I allow them to be loaded. When Firefox then starts after loading JAVA Consoles window pops up and says JAVA is not used by firefox and prompts to restart firefox deleting JAVA. System restore didn't help. I had 100+ items stored in it for my business. I NEED them ASAP. How do I get it back WITH the contents stored in it???
