My eyes aren't so good any more, so this is fairly important. When I want to search, as soon as I start typing and even though the center box is highlighted, the text jumps to the upper box. How do I keep it in the center box? It's probably a setting, but I can't find it.

Thanks to any responders.

I have to stay on 134.0b7 where If I type anything in bar, follwoed by Command + Return opens new tab with whatever I asked for.

On new version, this is working with Option key, but it makes no sense.

If I click on a link holding Command key, it opens page in new tab.

Please revert this, to keep consistent with Command key.

For some reason after a few (sometimes only 1) use of "copy/paste" stops working. I'm running the current version Firefox 137.0 (aarch 64) on an Apple M1 desktop running Sequoia 15.3.2

For example if I highlight a webpage URL and copy, then try to pase (in an email message for example) all the fields are grayed out, paste is not available as a choice. So I try Command-V and no joy.

this occurs frequently but not always, and usually into a session online of a few minutes or more, the problem never occurs using Chrome

If I restart the computer, that sometimes fixes the problem, but often does not.

So wierd

I've been noticing that on some websites, certain fonts are hard to read. For example, the letter "e" being too bold or "i" looking like an "l", and "c" sometimes looking like an "o". Those are just a couple of cases. I've attached an annotated screenshot to show this issue.

I need some of my PC screens enlarged -- BUT -- not all of them. Example: Windows Desktop home screen default text size is too small. But Windows applies my custom magnifications to ALL other apps. Firefox text becomes shockingly large and websites become hard to view. Is there a way to change Mozilla's magnification setting independent from Windows? I don't know if it's the latest Firefox "update" ro v137.0.1(those accursed things!) which I've resisted for months, or the garbage update Macrosuck foisted on us today, but somebody has altered my settings. The font size on all were the same size as the fonts on the pages I go to, now they're miniscule. How can I change them so I can actually see them?

Thank you to any and all relevant solutions and/or suggestions.

Last night, Firefox spontaneously stopped recognizing input from my Logitech M650 L mouse's side buttons used to go back and forward through the browsing history of the current tab. I've tried refreshing firefox, checking the mouse software, trying a different profile, trying firefox in safe mode, checked the firefox config and the mouse button inputs were set to "true", tried clearing the cache, and even tested on a website that shows you your mouse inputs and the side buttons were not detected at all, while all other buttons were detected fine. The side buttons work fine in all other programs and browsers on my PC: Windows 10 64 bit.

There was a brief period where they started working again last night, but seemed to stop upon reboot my computer.

If I use the close window shortcut (ctrl+shift+w) in Firefox it fails to close the window and treats every action I try to take as if the shift and ctrl keys were held down. For example, clicking on a tab will select it as if I were trying to move it as a group, rather than switching to it. Or, pressing only the T key will reopen closed tabs as if I had pressed ctrl+shift+T. This behavior will persist in Firefox until I close out of it completely and reopen. This does not occur when any other application is focused and ctrl+shift+w is pressed, and the effects are isolated to Firefox only when it does occur. Due to this, I do not believe that it is a hardware issue, eg. my keys just getting stuck. I haven't seen anything online that even vaguely resembles this issue. Any solution would be appreciated, even if it is disabling the ctrl+shift+w shortcut, as I keep pressing it out of habit and needing to close and reopen all of my tabs.

I'd like to use CTRL+S instead of CTRL+ALT+X to toggle the sidebar visibility as it's quick, easy, and memorable. I don't save webpages so that functionality wouldn't have a shortcut key anymore (and i'm fine with that). I know i'd have to edit an autoconfig file but i'm not sure how i'm supposed to go about that. That is to say, where are the autoconfig files saved? how do i edit them to achieve my goals?

I have built an HTTPS server using Apache/2.4.62 in a Linux environment using CentOS Stream release 9, but if you change the port number and access it, the behavior is different from Chrome/Edge, so please let me confirm this.

Client authentication is enabled when using port 443 or 44999 in /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf.

The server certificate has been imported to the client PC, and the client PC certificate has been imported to the server.

I attached index.html to /var/www/html/ on the server side and set it up so that test.html would open on port 44999 when the "Start" button on index.html was pressed. When I do this in Chrome or Edge, a certificate selection screen appears and when the client sends the certificate, the result is successful.

However, when I try this in Firefox, the certificate selection screen does not appear and the result is a failure. Why does the certificate selection screen not appear?

Also, when I capture the packets at this time with Wireshark, it appears that an empty Certificate packet is being sent in response to the Certificate Request from the server.

If you enter https://IP address:44999/test.html directly into the address bar, you will be able to access the page successfully.

And the contents of index.html are as follows: <title>connectTest</title> <meta charset="UTF-8"> <script> function connectTest() { var request = new XMLHttpRequest(); var testUrl = "https://192.168.137.149:44999/test.html"; request.open('POST',testUrl,true); request.send(); request.onreadystatechange = function(){ if(request.readyState == 4){ if(request.status == 200){ alert("Success"); } else { alert("Error"); } } } } </script>

コネクションテスト

<button type="button" onclick="connectTest()">開始</button>

test.html just displays "Hello World".

Hi, I am a new Firefox user. Since installing the browser, I have not been able to copy and paste data. I get the message:"Use shortcuts keys. Your browser can't access the clipboard, so use these shortcuts: Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, CTRL + V". Unfortunately, shortcuts do not work either. I checked also Copy: Ctrl+C or Ctrl+Insert (Mac: Command + C) Paste: Ctrl+V or Shift+Insert (Mac: Command + V) Cut: Ctrl+X or Shift+Delete (Mac: Command + X) but this is only for Mac. So nothing is working. What is the other option to make shortcuts available?

Thank you, Aneta
