I wanted to try the free Firefox VPN but I cannot see the setup button on the toolbar. The instructions say it should be top right, but it isn't there. I am using version 152.2.04 and am in UK and I have had the notification that it is available. Why can't I see it? Why can't I switch it on?

I have been using Surfshark, could this be part of the problem? I have tried switching it off but it makes no difference.

I use Nightly 154.0a1 (2026-07-10) (64-bit) on Windows 11. I'm trying new VPN feature from study and the VPN itself is working, but the location setting is completely broken. I have only two options for location Recommended and United States. Whenever I choose United States, nothing changes and my IP is always from subset of CIDR 63.245.208.0/20 which is geolocated in London, UK. I tried multiple IP addresses (by restarting VPN) and all of them are geolocated in London. Running traceroute also suggest that all of them which I get are located in the UK. Is there a way to fix this?

Firefox did send an email stating Firefox browser users can have a free VPN installed but i cannot find the icon. please send me the link to download it. thank you

I'm trying to use the built in VPN. I'm signed in but it just keeps returning me to the same page. The VPN icon doesn't have a green tick - it keeps the little black cross next to it. What am I doing wrong?

Just did another browser update and running 152.0.2 (aarch64)

when will the free vpn become available to me? I've been reading and watching for the invite box on the toolbar and don't see it.
