Every time I select Gmail on Firefox page, it requires me to sign in with a code. I have selected 'Strict' for browser privacy and 'Clear history after closing Firefox'... plus a number of other settings. I then get a notice of someone signing into my account each time, as does the person who I use as a backup to my account. I'd like not to go through that each time I access my Gmail account.

Windows 11 PC using latest Firefox browser.

Suddenly, today, I can no longer sign in to my usual grocery shopping account, which I have been using without problems for many years. Firefox takes me to the home page but, when I try to sign in, the sign in page just keeps reloading and will not allow me to enter a username or password. I have cleared cache, cookies, and browser data, disabled virus/malware detection, turned off Windows fast start, restarted the PC but it makes no difference. I can sign-in using Chrome with no problem at all.

Until a few months ago, I was able to turn off the underlining of URLs in web pages that I create. But within the last few months, all URLs appear as underlined, even in documents where they had NOT been underlined a few months ago. I am using the text-decoration setting to control this aspect. Look at page https://www.w3schools.com/CSS/tryit.asp?filename=trycss_link2 in the Edge browser, and see the "This link changes text-decoration" change between underlined and not as the cursor is moved on and off of that sentence in the middle box. Now look at the above page in latest Firefox. Moving the cursor on and off of the "This link changes text-decoration" sentence causes NO change to that sentence -- it always is underlined.

I refer to the w3schools.com website when I wish to learn about a new-to-me feature, and I have found their site to be accurate in the past.

I love vertical the tab view. Unfortunately, on one of my systems, vertical tabs to not render correctly. Groups are shown, but there are no favicons or titles shown (see attached image). The tabs are also not clickable. Any insight into how I could debug that would be amazing!

I had been using Firefox as my default browser for a few years ... around 4 weeks ago i had some updates on my work's laptop and somehow i have lost my saved passwords for websites that i use regurlarly.

is there a way of accessing them again ?

I have extensive bookmark collections organized under my bookmarks toolbar. I use different bookmark sets at home and work. I need them remain separate but would like them to be backed up and synced. For example, if I'm at home, I want to be able to toggle over to my WORK bookmarks with all the latest updates. Basically, I need distinct bookmark identities but don't care about keeping other work/home stuff isolated.

I tried making home and work profiles, but syncing them to my Mozilla account merged the bookmarks which was a mess that took a long time to straighten out.

Can 2 profiles be synced to the same Mozilla account without merging bookmarks toolbars? If I have to create a separate Mozilla account for each profile, that kind of defeats the purpose.

I've looked at the available docs but can't see a fix. Can someone advise how I can either:

A) Sync multiple profiles (with bookmarks) to my Mozilla account without merging the bookmarks toolbars B) Find another solution to let me toggle bookmark sets.

My mac froze, force quit did not work, unplugged it, turned it back on, all bookmarks were gone and not able to add new ones. Would like to restore old bookmarks and add new ones.

The whole this week I have been dealing that Firefox fixed my issues and next day all settings went back as Google and Firefox is blocked or not longer providing me my request because of Google. I want to substitute Google for Firefox...I need an stronger help

Hi, your last update ( 153.0.3) broke my ability to stay signed into or go back to known web sites I have put in the “Exceptions – Cookies and Site Data”. I do clear all the Cookies and Data when I close the browser but now it looks like Cookies and Data is deleted in the “Exceptions – Cookies and Site Data” also. I would love to do a redo on this update and reload the old version. The browser also is showing my PC is Windows 10 and it has been on Windows 11 for 3 years now.

I am running Firefox version 153.0.1 on a 64bit install of Windows 11.

A few days ago I had to factory reset my computer, including a clean Windows install. Since then, when attempting to access https://vodafone.cz/muj/prihlaseni, I get an Imperva Error 15 "Access Denied" error screen - screenshot attached here. Clicking the Imperva logo on the bottom of the error message leads to https://www.imperva.com/why-am-i-seeing-this-page/?src=23.

I was able to access the site in the past, most recently on July 8, 2026 - this would have been Firefox version 152.0.5.

This error persists in troubleshooting mode but not in private/anonymous (with or without extensions enabled), nor does it appear in Microsoft Edge or Firefox on Adroid.

Clearing cookies and cache did not help - in fact the error first showed up on a clean install of Firefox, when there weren't any cookies or cache stored yet. I've tried different DNS over HTTPS settings and listing the site as an exception in settings, but none of this made a difference. Enabling Firefox's built in VPN also made no difference, regardless of the selected location.

I found a recent post (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1588627) describing a similar issue on a different website and tried the suggestion listed there to try a fresh profile - this seemed to work, but within a couple of minutes of browsing the error message returned. I've even reinstalled Firefox entirely, but this too did not help for long.

Interestingly enough, the error message lists a proxy IP address (not blacked out on the screenshot) despite the fact that I am not using a proxy.

The website provider's tech support claims this is an issue on the user side, not theirs - they have not been able to replicate the issue.

Is there anything I'm missing that would explain why this is happening?

Pop up notification for an outdated profile/version of firefox when firefox was closed which made the game tab out and I couldn't move until I was able to tab back in. How do I get rid of this and keep my current profile and get it up to date so that I can use the same profile?

The Merrill Lynch login screen does not appear. Ad blockers are disabled; the problem does not appear with other browsers. Screenshots are attached for the same site using FF and Edge. I asked this question a few weeks ago but never got an answer. I'm using FF 153.03 64-bit

I am trying to change my default search engine to Firefox and it isn't allowing me. What could be preventing this? and how do I get around it? Thank you in advance for your help.
