Sign in...sign in...sign in.... What. I am signed in to my Firefox account, why the hell do I have to sign in, change my profile etc etc, to ask a question? I'm getting frustrated with Firefox, it's my goto browser but really, it's getting to be a piece of crap. Too many incompatible changes, with itself and it's extensions. I've changed settings, particular to Youtube, I use Youtube extensions, but regularly those settings are ignored. I'll change autoplay, pop out mini players, in-scroll video pop-outs etc, all to be off, but on the next video or page load, it's back. I get page not found for sites like Aliexpress. WTF is going on? I've cleared cache, I've reset settings and keep getting the same crap issues.

I have Firefox Version 94.0.2 (64 Bit) running on Windows 11. First, I noticed Firefox was running very slow. It loads up slow and webpages are loading super slow. I downloaded other Browsers and they are working just fine so this tells me there is an issue with Firefox. After a while, Firefox would randomly crash for no apparent reason, while loading a new webpage or installing an Extension. I have sent Feedback for every crash. I have closed all of the Tabs I can that I am not using on Firefox, cleared the Cache, Cookies & History, Restarted Firefox & my PC and everything I can think of. Now, I just started getting an Error Message at the top of Firefox that says this: Firefox is running out of disk space. Website contents may not display properly & it includes a link to read on how to optimize disk usage. I followed the Instructions in that Article and it did not help. I am at wits end. I am ready to Uninstall and Reinstall Firefox and see if that fixes the issue but I hate to lose all of my Extensions and ETC. Can someone please help me with this? Is there anything else I can do to speed Firefox up, stop the crashes and get rid of that error message?

I would like Firefox to access the Mac OS "Dictionary" for immediate definitions, the way it accesses its own dictionary for spelling, or as Mac's Safari, accesses the Mac dictionary. I see nothing listed in Firefox>Services, nor does the OS's Services Preferences show Firefox as an app to connect services to. I can always get the definition with a right-click on the highlighted word, but I'd like the definition to be a readily available as the spelling.

TIA,

This is a feature implementation suggestion for Firefox Daylight.

I am convinced that it would be a great advance to have an automatic activated/deactivated function that achieves a "dark mode" during the visit of any web page.

It would be a function similar to that already available to some other large Search Engines, such as Opera...

In this way, Firefox would also join the trend for the defense of visual health when using the Internet.

A mi juicio, demasiado diferente.

A nod to any other intelligent human being: this very Firefox page for writing messages, is in stark and blinding white. And it is not that white and bright is a bad thing, it is that we are talking about screens loaded with luminosity that exhaust our eyesight. "Black on white" to describe the ability to read a text on physical paper (a book) is one thing. "Black on white" to capture the reading of the image projected by an electronic screen is quite another thing. In my opinion, too different.

It is for this reason that I ask that Firefox engineers be informed about this request.

The search engines I've added do not appear in the list after clicking the green + sign in the search box and they do not appear in the list in the options either. I used the "add more search engines" found in the bottom of the search engines list to find the missing engines and add them again, but when I find the engine I want to add there is only the "remove" button. So this tells me the missing engines in the list are still there but not accessible. I tried removing the added search engine and then adding it again but this did not make them appear in the search engine list. Everything was working fine until getting the last update before Firefox 89. Is there a way to fix this???

After the last update to Firefox on my Mac Book Pro running Mac-OS Monterey, I was offered an update to Ad Block Plus. This add-on, AdBlocker Ultimate shows as installed but it won't run at all and shows as disabled and my existing AdBlock Plus quits working. I'm using Adblock Plus on my windows based computers with all synced together with the Mac Book and the Windows computers are OK, but not the Mac Book. Is there any way to get my Mac Book working correctly? In addition the last update to Firefox on the Mac Book opens by offering me "Life in Color" every time it starts up. How long do I have to tell it I'm not interested? Thanks for your help.

Hello,

When there is a form to fill out in Firefox, whenever I fill it out and press "refresh", the things that I wrote still stay there. However, I don't want it to do that, I want it to refresh the forms as if I am visiting the page from new. How can I make it so that Firefox does this? It is weird because it used to do this but now no longer does.

Running ROCK SOLID Windows 7 SP 1 64 bit. Last week updated 64 bit FF from 88xx to 94.0.2. EVERYTHING was working fine with FF 88 except for videos on CNN.

After update when I right click in FF the small Context Menu freezes. Subsequent right clicks launches the same Menu. See attached image. When I mess around with scrolling they go away.

Also, when I'm going back and forth between a FF web page and a file in another app to cut and paste text or images, half of one or the other screens hang.

I'm an old geek and I did ALL of the recommendations including a complete clean uninstall and clean reinstall of FF 94.0.2... I've spent hours trying to solve the problem...

I'm having NO PROBLEMS with Chrome or Opera or any other SW on this PC.

BTW, DON'T EVEN SUGGEST GOING TO Windows 10 or 11. I have 10 but I use 7 on this PC for a lot of reasons.

Like I said, problems began after 94.0.2 update.

Regards,

Chas.

Hi I keep getting these error messages in Firefox. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. It seemed to work ok after that, until I logged back in to Firefox a few minutes later and started getting this error again. I like Firefox but getting all these errors is really frustrating. I do not have these errors with other browsers. Any ideas? If not I will have to go to another browser.

Trying to log into my investing website (Vanguard)

So.............I log into the website periodically and several weeks or more ago they 'updated' their site with a new look. So when I go to it, it has 'auto-filled' my username and password (just like it used to do) and after the site does the 'handshake' with the window I press the 'Log In' button and nothing happens. Nothing at all, it just sits there. I can launch my (outdated) Internet Explorer browser and do the same thing and it works fine and I go right in to the site. I've tried deleting cookies for the site on the Firefox browser but it doesn't change anything.

So..........ideas? Maybe a plug-in problem???

Thanks, Kent
