Hi!

I am getting messages that I am blocking ads for many of my internet requests. I had never received these before but all of a sudden I started to get them. I have tried a number of things but nothing works.

I am running Windows 11 and do not have any Ad blockers.

Opening PDFs automatically with Firefox and, without any changes I might make, saving them with the download function in Firefox, actually ruins the functionality and data entry function of that file. Specifically this happens with PDF files downloaded from the (not all that amusing) PDFs from the FINCEN, (US Financial Crimes Enforcement Network). I do not see why and how Firefox thinks it is allowed to change files that are simply downloaded and saved on Firefox.

In other words, it seems that Firefox strips away certain "permissions" and/or "functions" (like built-in lookup, menu or choice boxes). This means that the file so downloaded via Firefox can no longer be used to properly fill in data, or to look up and choose data items within the file. (I see many times that ANYTHING having to do with "permissions" tends to be an intractable and unsolvable problem for software makers & experts, so, if you do not know right away how to solve the problem, it will probably take you several years to figure this out.)

The PDF in question is created by a government agency. If you have ever dealt with a government agency, then you know that they act sort of like Adobe or Microsoft: "They don't respond, or they do respond & say they do not understand, and if they understand, they are either unwilling or unable to fix the problem."

If there is a switch or option within Firefox, which lets me tell Firefox "Save this file exactly like it is received, nothing added or removed!", that would be nice. I just have not found such an option yet, and it would be nice if it might get provided someday.

I will share my browser data, but I am sort of convinced that a detailed question like mine will not be addressed within that shared data.

I’m writing to report an ongoing issue I’ve been experiencing with Firefox over the past few months.

Within the last four months, Firefox has logged me out of every account I was signed into on three separate occasions. Each time this happens, all saved sessions are cleared and I have to sign back into every service again manually.

I haven’t intentionally cleared cookies, site data, or browsing history, and I’m not using private browsing when this occurs. This behavior is disruptive and I’m concerned there may be a settings issue, bug, or conflict causing Firefox to remove my sign-in data unexpectedly.

Could you please advise what might be causing this and what steps I can take to prevent it from happening again? I’m happy to provide additional details such as my operating system, Firefox version, or troubleshooting steps already attempted if needed.

Hello I no longer see any of my browser search history. It is completely blank. I can only see "recently opened tabs." How do I get my "history" back? Thank you very much.

Uploading/posting files via the Firefox browser on my laptop to Instagram does not work. It's been stuck on this window for 15 min (I'm using another PC for other work). The only reason I need firefox is to do this action. I don't want to use IG's mobile app for anything. I don't want to use any other browser because IG has me flagged with other browsers — they included my previous IG account in it's random ban via it's AI clean up of accounts for simply posting photos of surfers at a competition —( but that's for another topic for another day).

Why does Firefox, AND ONLY FIREFOX 145.02 fail to load ANY AND ALL websites after Windows 11 pro x64 startup? I have to close Firefox, restart it, then close and restart it at least 3 times before websites will load fully. AND IT IS NOT A WINDOWS 11 PRO x64 issue.

This Help Article: ( [|"Manage local site storage settings"]) says: Allow or block websites from storing information "You can set up Firefox to always allow or block specific sites from storing information. You can also allow a site to store only for a single session. "

So I added a URL into 'Cookies and Site Data' > 'Manage Exceptions' with the option "Allow for Session". But it appears to have no effect. The site's cookies and data don't disappear from the "Manage Cookies and Site Data" window after Firefox is quit.

Does "Allow for Session" mean that a site's cookies and data will be deleted when Firefox is quit? If yes, the feature is not working ... in my version of Firefox which is 115.32.0esr. Or, am I missing something? I have "Enhanced Tracking Protection" set at "Strict", if that has any relevance.

While you can disable event listeners in developer tools, the site may still load them later during use. Is there a way to prevent them from loading or at least automatically disable them as soon as they load without using developer tools?

I use an older dell remote monitor with my Dell laptops. When using my new Windows 11 laptop on the internet the text on the remote monitor fluctuates between is light colored and broken appearance to normal over the course of 5 to 30 seconds, back and forth. Text appears normal on the laptop monitor AND appears normal on both monitors when using edge browser. I wan to keep using firefox. Solutions?

My default search engine in Firefox settings is Google. I deleted Yahoo search from the list of browsers in my settings. Nevertheless, all of my searches recently began going through and using Yahoo search. This is the search path that comes up in the search box: https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/ . . . How can I stop this?

I am facing 2 issue as below.

1. The issue the when I play the video on 2x in YouTube then video and audio both stats lagging.

2. When I am watching any video on YouTube in firefox and minimise it and again open the browser then is open in landscape mode although my auto rotating in off.

There are these 2 bugs which i have found.

i get confused about which firefox i am using when i click the fox.is it mjcrosoft or or the app i downloaded from the web. can one be deled without messing up the other FFox account  ?

windows 10 laptop output speakers are garbled like there is too much bass. Is there a setting in Firefox? My videos and posts from Facebook played clearly until I played a Facebook video of a guitar player and it was very, very heavy on the bass sound. Afterwards, my speaker output became garbled and not understandable. It's like there is too much bass now. I deleted and restarted so the Device reinstalled. Did nothing for the Sound. I tried right clicking on the speaker icon and did all the adjustments and reset to Microsoft suggested settings. Any other suggestions? Is there a special setting in Firefox to clear the voice and music coming out of speakers. This happened once before and cleared itself, It is happening again, but not clear now.
