Hi team,

I am facing a persistent video playback issue specifically in Firefox (latest version), while the exact same stream works perfectly fine on Google Chrome and VLC player.

When I try to play a high-definition HLS live stream from my network provider site (vraitv.com), the video stalls and buffers every few seconds. Upon inspecting the Firefox Web Developer Console, I notice frequent NS_ERROR_NET_TIMEOUT errors during the loading of .ts video chunks, along with occasional CORS warning flags.

I have already tried the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Disabled Enhanced Tracking Protection for the site. 2. Started Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode (Safe Mode) with all extensions disabled. 3. Cleared all cookies and site cache.

Unfortunately, the issue persists. Are there any hidden settings in about:config (such as modifying network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server or increasing the media cache size) that can optimize how Firefox handles concurrent video chunk loading?

Any technical guidance would be highly appreciated.

When listening to live internet radio, after varying minutes, browser stops and I have to refresh and re-establish link. Does not appear to be related to sleep or desktop display issues. Any suggestions how to correct?

How to increase buffer time for video, how to load at least 2 min of video instead of how it's now about 30 seconds. I live in the countryside and I can't change my internet speed (I tried). I have the fastest speed that they can send, but still I can't watch anything normally because it constantly stops videos to load more

Youtube videos will open but the red line that dances across the top of the page stops at some point and the video will not open. This is happening to all videos, I am relying on Safari to conduct all my business. This annoying since I have never touched settings nor tweeked any buttons, this seems to be a choice of Firefox.

The Firefox browser came through with an update and I found that on Bluesky it is hard to load or see video's, which makes it a slightly pointless exercise.

Previously I have found that after an update (can't recall if it was Chrome, but think it was Firefox) the problems cleared up after a couple of days.

However, that doesn't seem to be happening right now.

Can't think what I should be tweaking at my end.

Started OBS Vitrual Camera option. in Firefox the camera is no listed.

How can virtual cameras listed in Firefox?

but OBS Virtual Camera is not listed

title sums it up mostly. I've entered troubleshooting mode; no discernible difference. When I switch profiles the issue is resolved even with the same YouTube account. Tried clearing the cache, nothing. Most recent version of Firefox, windows 11.

Hello Firefox support. I'm having trouble joining meetings in calling applications where I stream my screen from my laptop. I tried several different applications on my Windows 10, and unfortunately, in the Firefox browser, the audio doesn't work at all in various different applications, which reveals that the problem isn't the app. I couldn't find help in Mozilla support, so I'd like to know how I can stream my screen (either full screen or in browser, etc.) along with the audio so that everyone in the meeting can hear the sound of my computer. Thank you.

Any time I have another application open and I pause a YouTube video or music everything on my computer mutes. I tried to disable hardware media keys in config but that just mutes my entire browser

Hello I am using Google Flow on my Linux PC and when going to edit scenes I get an error about a missing Codec. If I use Brave browser works fine so this makes me think this is not an OS issue but browser.

i already tried to delete the cookies and cache, but 1 user is still muted for no reason and everyone/everything else works fine, so is there something wrong with the browser ?

i basically got like 2-3 completely different users muted for no reason, but at the moment i can only remember 1 of them and noone else has been added to the bug list ever since... and it basically happened when the Firefox itself got really low on memory again and started to display that red crash button. and even then, many different users crashed, but some did not even get the sound back anymore, while others did with no issue....

ps. i also found the other streamer now and both of them i was following, so that is also really weird, plus i havent noticed anyone else getting muted again, so maybe its just the ones that i followed ??? (and during the red crash button then)

Greetings. I am on Ubuntu Linux OS. Trying to run WhatsApp, I only have a web based option. Messaging, photos, works well, but no Audio. Desktop Speakers and Mic are ON (tested). No "speaker tab" on Firefox. Help!
