You guys did an update that now makes me choose a profile every time I log in. WHY? Keep it simple. I tried to go into Profile and keep it simple. Can you tell me how to go back to reset the old way?

All I want to do is open Firefox and go to my default page. Okay?

When I click on a link in outlook recently, I have been getting an seperate firefox pop up but it has none of my passwords. How do i set up to have all the info as the regular firefox browser I use.

I thought original profile would save all my bookmarks, history, passwords, etc. I created a second profile for work, but that also does not contain any of my bookmarks, history, passwords, etc. I imported my bookmarks and other history/passwords from EDGE. I did this in my work profile because I couldn't get my original profile to import anything. I signed into work with my main firefox e-mail and exported bookmarks to HTML so I could upload it in my original profile. The original profile now wont log in and says I need a different e-mail account, so I'll lose everything on my original profile. It is ridiculous that my profiles don't have the same log on and don't use the same e-mail. I need someone to help me recover my system to normal working function. This has been a horrible experience and profiles are unusable.

Firefox kept losing all of my saved bookmarks and passwords. Each time it updated everything would disappear. I went to the folders where the bookmarks and passwords are stored and the profiles were there but Firefox did not list them when I searched (about:profiles). Tried numerous times to move the files to the current folder but the program still could not see them. Tried copying, moving, changing names of files, etc. Finally uninstalled firefox and attempted a new installation but it will not even open because it says it can't find profiles even though there are profiles in the profile folder. Now what do I do?

when i am in my browser how can i tell which email account this is for. i have two profiles each with a different email account, i want to able to see which one my current browser is tied to.

I used Firefox this morning and it worked normal. This evening however it will not open as normal. It appears to want me to create a new profile. It does not have a toolbar or any of my bookmarks What do I need to do to restore

When I try to login with my Firefox account to configure Sync, I get a message that says that I am logged on to a different profile and asks if I want to switch. If I switch, I get the same result with the other profile. There is only one profile folder in the Profiles directory, there are no other files or folders. What should I do?

When I try to edit a profile (name, color theme), about:editprofile returns a blank page.

It was working just a few minutes ago, but stopped while I was trying to select a new theme.

I have started using the Multiple Profiles feature in Firefox.

If I have two instances of Firefox running and I open the Bookmark Manager in both instances there is no obvious indicator as to which Firefox instance a Bookmark Manager belongs.

I have currently created a folder within the Bookmarks Menu folder that has been given the same name as the profile. Is there a better way?

I start the Firefox Browser from an icon on the desktop. This icon does not have a padlock symbol in the upper right corner of the icon. When the Firefox Browser starts an icon with a padlock symbol located in the upper right corner of the icon appear on the taskbar. What is the significance or the padlock symbol? What causes the padlock symbol to appear? How do I disable this option? Is this a feature added with a recent update to Firefox?

Some day not so long ago, while I was busy with something else, something happened and I was asked to choose or create a profile. Since then nothing seems to be as I am used to during several years of Mozilla Firefox use, so I want to ask where have all my bookmarks and passwords gone? If it's because of the introduction of something called AI, then please let me rely on my own I. I don't trust the "A" version!

At some point recently, a 'Profiles tab has appeared in my menu bar. Presumably this arrived during an update. I don't want it, keep accidentally clicking on it instead of bookmarks & want it gone. How do I remove it?

Hello! I just installed F-Fox yesterday and want to delete Google Chrome. However, my husband and I both used Chrome and I would like to add him to Firefox, so his history, passwords, etc can be imported but I don't know how to add his profile to Firefox along with mine.

Please help.
