Hello, I am contacting you about the non-functioning sound of some websites. It is manifested as if Firefox does not perceive that the page is playing sound at all. For example, YouTube works as it should, but Instagram is completely without sound.
I am finding a number of locations I cannot connect with [a medical website and an investment firm are 2 examples.Then get advised to use Google;frustrating.

This is triggered by laptop doing sleep/wake transitions so I strongly suspect this is related to Firefox online/offline detection.
My google docs all crash when opened in Firefox on mac. No problem in any other browser, but this is my default browser, and never used to have the issue

I am very, very tired of FF updating constantly and - if I don't download it myself - it updates without my permission and in the case this morning, lost all my gaming info. because I had my computer set to empty the cache when I log out of FF. I used to love FF, but this constant updating is getting old. I get that you guys have security issues to deal with, but this is just ridiculous. I'm seriously considering going to Edge which I had sworn I'd never do.
