I've lost everything in bookmarks. The toolbar. The general bookmarks. Everything. Could this be because I tried to download Claude on my new mac mini. Help please. We only use firefox. All the time!

just takes to long to start, when i turn the computer on. Google Or Microsoft will come on almost instantly & when Firefox comes on, it says turn it off cause its running but not responding. this happens 80 to 90 % of the time. Why ?

I used to have the camera and microphone on video conversation using the instant messenger on Firefox browser, but now it says "camera and microphone not supported by browser". So I tried to fix it thru setting, privacy & security, accessibility - camera & microphone, but no joy. Can somebody plese show me how to fix it. thanks.

I can access Gmail via Chrome, but using Firefox I'm told my account is temporarily unavailable (for three days now). The dashboard says there's no problem.

NB I've just realised I've not had a Firefox update for a while- is there a connection?

I am unable to access photos on One Drive with Firefox. This problem started a few weeks ago.

I have to use Chrome or Edge to access these photos.

Please advise how to fix this problem.

Going to ANY website, it takes "forever" to load, but after loading normal speed is experienced. One way to get a website to initially load more quickly is to click the "X" which the spinner is going endlessly, then refresh the page, whereupon it will usually load instantly.

The problem is experienced with any and every website. This problem does not occur with Chrome or Edge:

Windows 11, Firefox 142.0.1 64 bit.

I am writing to report a problem I'm facing while trying to install the "sconnect" extension on my Firefox browser. This extension is required for accessing national digital certification services in Oman.

I am attempting to add the extension from the official portal: idp.pki.ita.gov.om. When I try to initiate the installation from this page, it fails to add to the browser. I have already ensured that my browser is up to date.

This extension is essential for me to access important government and educational services, including those from the Ministry of Education (moe.gov.om).

Could you please provide assistance or guide me on how to resolve this issue and successfully install the "sconnect" extension?

There are many Recommended extensions that are doing so very shady things (collecting user data that shouldn't be necessary for the task the extension is doing, storing user data, sharing data with less then trustworthy 3rd parties, using bullying tactics to get people to subscribe and so on). Many of these extensions change their privacy policies or their monetization practices after you've given them a Recommended badge and you then blissfully continue to suggest the extension after these changes.
