why the hell dose this browswe keep changing it really piss me off when it changes and am sck to death of it they should be up to the person useng it if they want the changer or now i am so pissed off with this if t keeps hppening i will stop useing this site for good and tell all my friend to do the same or the people that i look after there pc's why carnt things stay the same jenny b

Hello there, today I reset my Mozilla Firefox account password and now I am unable to see my bookmarks, my account is not synchronizing from and also there is no backup data saved, How can I get my all settings back, please help

Hello, I'm trying to use the Multi-Account containers extension to enable me to login to my personal and work gmail accounts in separate containers. I'm clearly doing something very stupid as I just can't get it to work for me.

I have set up two distinct containers, one for each account and tried to log in to each and told the extension to always open each account in their respective containers. Firefox seems unable to remember these choices for the two accounts, however, and tries to open both in the same container, or at least questions the choice I have previously asked it to remember.

Can someone please explain what I'm doing wrong here, and how to make my choices 'stick'?

Aw, dang it. I just installed the new Firefox that was announced today in an email. This is supposed to be "cleaner." Now the tab area and top of the browser window appear to be transparent. I can see what's on my desktop behind the tabs, and everything looks much more cluttered! This is not an improvement AT ALL.

Is there any way to remove the transparency from this area? I'm SO disappointed! I thought this was going to be much easier on my eyes.

I am on Windows 7.

Why does my address shown under "Firefox Accounts" differ from my actual address?

This is shown when I go to Firefox Accounts -> Settings -> Connected Services while signed in to my Firefox acct with my e-mail.

It shows my computer name, and underneath it the following address: Boardman, OR, United States.

I am about 1,500 miles away from Boardman, I have never lived in, nor visited Boardman OREGON, so I'd like to know how this address showed up there, and of course, how I might be able to change it to the correct one.

If this is an indication that someone or something is bugging my computer, I'd like to know that too.

Updated to version 89 and am not pleased with the visual/graphic interface changes. The tabs are very difficult to read. The new graphic layout fails to clearly identify each tab as a distinct entity or thing to be selected. The text just looks like a long string of text and in some instances of long names on a tab the text just fades away to nothingness.

Please make each tab a "distinct thing by creating a different colored edge on three (3) sides of the tab. Or perhaps have 3 levels of lightening/darkening the table to differentiate it from the background on which it is displayed.

Does the development team have a graphic designer and/or have the changes reviewed by a group of graphic designers?

Please change this please or put the user in charge of how they want it displayed.

After automatic update all my saved bookmarks is gone. All web page in istoric is gone - this is not ok

Aveam niste pagini salvate care acum le-am pierdut - parole care acum s-au dus si trebuie sa recuperez totul din aduceri aminte. Din start actualizarile nu ar trebui sa stearga ce aveai si sa instaleze un program "pe curat". Este a doua oara cand patesc asa ceva. Cred ca o sa renunt la browserul dvs.

Despite what all the articles say, I much prefer reading on my desktop to my phone, so I find it peculiar that the Firefox reading list I've got going on iOS is nowhere to be found on desktop. Seems like plenty of people have asked about this in the past. Would really love this feature to be added soon!

Hi. When i type a search in my Search bar i get suggestions dropping from address bar at top of screen. This has only happened since the update and is very annoying. The problem is that when i click on my search bar to begin typing, and as i type my search, the words are appearing in my address bar and my search bar stays empty. Any info much appreciated Thanks

I have Windows 10 with the latest Firefox update. I have had it set up that when I select +(plus) after the last opened tab, it opens to the search page for the search engine I chose as primary. Now when I do it, the print is faded and I am unable to enter anything in the "search box" gh

As I stated in the subject line, "Cannot Stop Updated (Current) Version of Firefox From Diverting Search Engine Search to URL Pane" I have been doting over this for an hour. I have set the respective about:config settings to the recommended setting. (I forget off the top of my head what the string was at the moment) But I did as directed. Refreshed the about:config. Logged off the Firefox browser. Cleared all the caches manually. (i.e., even though I have Firefox to clear everything when I close the browser) Restarted the browser. Problem persists. I DON'T like searching out of the URL pane! I like it like it has ALWAYS been prior: Using the search engine (I currently am using Google) search pane.

I have added NO browser extensions to cause this either by the way.

A few days ago I did a Windows 10 update. Thanks Microsoft for causing me to spend SO much time trying to get things back to normal...

Now when I load a new tab and try to type in the Google search box in the center of that page, my typing goes to the url line. I want to be able to complete what I'm typing before this predictive text feature redirects me to the url line.

Is there a setting I can change to change the behavior?

Not impressed at all with semi-transparent tabs and tweaked interface colors.

With release of the newest version of Firefox, the search function for me has moved from the search bar up to the address bar, even when I try to initiate the search in the search bar.

How can I reset so that I can conduct my searches from the search bar?

I'm aware of the functionality of the address bar, but I simply don't want to conduct my searches there, nor in the additional search bar that can be added to the right of the address bar.

The only solution that I want is to use the search bar that appears beneath the Firefox logo to conduct my searches. Please let me know whether or not that's possible and, if so, how to adjust settings to accomplish this.
