To access https://accounts.firefox.com/ I used my email address xxxx@yahoo.com. I tried to change this email address to my email address xxxx@myonline.be following the prescribed procedure. I then received a message that this email address was already in use. Perhaps I once registered with this email address, but I no longer remember the password. Therefore, I'm unable to create access withe the email address as I'd like. How can I resolve this issue?

I want to know how to change my 'account ID' from *****@bellsouth to *****@gmail.com. I no longer use or access the bellsouth acount.

I have a problem, i have yahoo account that because of tje 2 way auth being 2 phone numbers that i lost and as mail recovery was one email to each other practicaly i lost any chance to log in them, my only chance is to gve a phone on yahoo in us which i cant afford, i need to change the email from my firefox account so i can still use it, im ready to prove in any way that is my account, i send this from my phone that im using for a long time, ao whqt can i do? I need to update my email to my new account. I list it as my secondary and need to make it my primary email. When asking this question I got a response that there was a "make primary" button next to the secondary email that you could use to perform this task. My account does not have that option. I changed my email last year and need to correct it for my Firefox account. Please help.

Hi! I had a firefox account when I worked for the law firm McCormick Barstow a few years ago. I haven't worked there for a few years. I just set up firefox on my personal computer, but am having problems changing my primary email from my work email ([email address]) to my personal email ([email address]). Can you help? i miss spelled my email and after i did it wouldnt let me go back and change it even though i didnt even enter the password. now when i try to change it, it trys to make me make a new profile please help.

I would like to make a new account with an email account I control. Currently, the secondary email address can receive 2FA codes and such, but is there some way to transfer all of the history I have with the account to a new one? I cannot make the secondary email address the new one because my university email is now unable to receive emails such as 2FA codes.

Hello, I previously had my personal email attached to a Firefox Account. I added other emails, changed the primary email, and then completely removed my personal email from the account.

However, Mozilla still allows login with that removed email and prevents me from creating a new Firefox Account with it.

I need the email login association fully cleared so this email can be used for a separate Firefox Account, while keeping the existing account intact.

Can you please reset/remove the hidden email ownership binding on your end?

For some weird reason, part of your system has mispelled my given name (and I'm definitely not in doubt about how to spell my own name - I've been doing it for ore than 70 years!)

Also, part of your system thinks I'm still on Windows 10. NOT true! I changed to Windows 11 well before the old system expired.

The primary and only email address I have set for my mozilla account, while it was my main email address at the time that I signed up, had become clogged with too much daily spam nonsense, so I had made a different email address that I switched to using. Apparently, since I hadn't logged into the first email account for a certain amount of time, the account provider deleted the account, so when I decided to try to change my primary email account that I have listed on my mozilla account, but when I tried to add a secondary account like it says your required to do so you can change the primary, mozilla wants me to enter a code sent to my primary email address to prove I am me, and therein lies my problem. I can't get into the primary email account because it doesn't exist anymore, so I need a new primary email account on my mozilla account, and I can't add a new email account to my mozilla account because I can't access the primary email account. I can't find a contact help link or anything, the closest I could get was this link that sent me here to the forums. Can somebody help me out?
