Until some days ago I could use the add on "Video Downloadhelper" without problems on my old Macbook Air (2017) with OS10.15.7 but suddenly the add on was not available anymore. I purchased a valid license for this add on. In the Firefox adjustments it was mentioned as deactivated. Could you please let me know, how I can activate the Video Downloadhelper again? Why am I being blocked from websites? I keep receiving messages 504 Gateway Time-out. The question I searched in google was, what size comb do I use to clip my dog's long hair? It's a simple question. Why did it send me this message 504 Gateway Time-out. I am not all that computer literate so I could use some help please. FYI I used Firefox as my browser.

We run the www.rarlab.com website and several users have complained that the download of the exe file for the English version of WinRAR 7.20 downloads a 0mb file and is also flagged as malicious. The file can be downloaded easily on the Edge browser and it is considered safe by Google too.

i need to change my email since my old email go hacked, so i dont have access to my old email anymore. i still have access to my account since i am logged in on my phone and desktop. I have backup authentication codes if that helps. Codes are getting sent to my hacked email which i dont have access to.

Whether a person clicks the fullscreen indicator or types F on the keyboard, the cursor will remain on screen as the video is playing until it is again moved. This also affects video played through the browser on steampowered.com. This issue appeared as of 143 and is still going strong in 144. This seems to be macOS specific as I am not noticing this behaviour on the Windows client. Could be a conflict with Tahoe.. I don't really know at this point.

There used to be a website where you could fire off a 'Firefox made me happy/sad' which is where I would've preferred to send this. So, have other people encountered this issue? And if so, are there any lasting solutions beyond wiggling the mouse?

As the title says, today I started getting the windows popup about selecting an app to open that file type, every time I download one.

Edit: I figured it out

I routinely keep a tab open to view my iCloud account (PC running Windows 11 Home).

Everything has worked just fine in the past. Here are the basics using Edge... -The home page displays like the first attachment. -Clicking an icon takes me to the calendar page (see the Edge screenshot in the second attachment) -Clicking the word, 'iCloud' (see yellow arrow in second attachment) returns me to the home page.

But now, using Firefox, if I click the calendar icon (or any other) the calendar return link and Calendar page title are superimposed over one another and the return link does not work. -Check out the yellow arrow in the third attachment -If I click the iCloud/Calendar mishmash I get nothing. If I click left arrow or Back I get nothing.

Note that this still works fine with Edge but does not work with Firefox. Have tried clearing Firefox cache (no change) but don't know what else to try.

Any ideas?

I recently downloaded the ebay app onto my Android phone. Since doing so, when I go to my ebay account on my PC, I cannot put items in My Cart nor can I BUY NOW. The selector arrow does not change to a Hand icon. Everything works as it should on my phone. Contacted ebay support which attempted to correct by having me clear browsing history with no success. They informed me that it was a problem with my browser (Firefox). Any info or suggestions would be well appreciated.

This is a subtle problem. I used to be able to have pages listed in my search history. Now I can only have a search for that page listed. So I have to click on the search result in "Search Facebook" on desktop, click the search for the page in the search history and then click the page in the search results to get to the page. I don't have to do this for groups. Pages have a magnifying glass beside them which they never had before. When I click on any of these, I just get a list of results of searches for posts related to these pages, not the page itself. If I click a group, I go straight to the group with no list of posts. I logged out, cleared the cache and cookie but that didn't solve the issue.

I just finished describing in detail a problem I have uncovered. Just before posting I clicked on an offered link that said it would help provide Mozilla with info about my system, and doing that nuked everything I'd written. So now you just get the short version - For a very long time Firefox has failed to interact properly with Apple's "Pages" app in their iCloud environment. Specifically, Command + C + clicking on selected text does NOT result in the text being copied. I'm done with Firefox.

I am having trouble with streaming YoutubeTV and PeacockTV on my Firefox browser. I made sure that my browser was updated but I am still experiencing trouble with getting access to online streaming sites.

Today when it was very important I ha access to my patient portals, FF decided to crash all tabs. What was the reason for that? I had to spend 30 minutes trying to get back on line while I am attending to a sick patient here at home. FF also wants to update in the middle of the day but I am never notified of it. Instead everything locks up and I have no clue why. I hope you can do something about that! Like maybe let me know that FF needs updating before it locks up, crashes, etc.
