I've noticed in the last week or two that when I'm on my desktop and try to navigate to an Instagram profile, that 9 out of 10 times I get the error in the screenshot attached:

"Sorry, this page isn't available."

Weirdly, if I have a link to a specific instagram post, the browser will load it. But profile page? Forget about it. Anyone else having this issue, and know perhaps why Firefox is loading Instagram this way on a desktop?

Is AdBlock part of your system? I inquired about their ad and declined. Since then they have become an absolute "PEST" popping up in every thing I do. Your logo appears in their Ad.

I have tried changing camera permissions as per the specific steps in related support threads:

   * Clicked the menu button and selected Settings.
   * Clicked Privacy & Security from the left menu.
   * Scrolled down to the Permissions section.
   * Clicked the Settings button for the Camera option.
   * No websites with saved Allow permissions were displayed, so I pasted in the URL of the site that needed camera access.
  * The Status dropdown did not open up with any options.
  * I clicked the Save Changes button at the bottom but my changes weren't saved.
  * I have uploaded the screenshot taken. 
  * I also went through similar steps on the Page Information screen via the Permissions tab and changed defaults but, again, changes made were not saved

I switched from Edge & Chrome to Firefox today [12Apr2023] but have been quite frustrated/disappointed at the lack of functionality and relevant support. Please help!

Hello, I am using an AutoConfig setup to specify proxy settings for the browser. I can see that the AutoConfig file is being read and the proxy settings are being set. However they don't appear to be applied to the browsing session. I can get them to apply by going to settings, searching for proxy, clicking the network settings, then clicking OK (without modifying any of the settings) The proxy then works. My question is: why do I, as a user, have to interact with the proxy settings for them to be used even though they are set? I am running Firefox ESR 102.9 on Rocky Linux 8.7

I sometimes hate Firefox because only this browser has lot of issues which doesnt gets resolved quickly and I didnt found any support email id of Firefox them where I can directly contact them.

All of a sudden Youtube is not working, keeps on loading, no audio and video in youtube. Another website called Duolingo where the audio is not coming.

I have reinstalled freshly firefox almost 4 times now and still facing this issue. I can able to do everything in Microsoft Edge and Opera browser. Only Firefox is nerd where I dont know there are no plugins I have installed nor I have any weird extensions.

Permissions are allowed to play audio and video but still firefox browser is not working.

Is there any solution for this or should I just simply uninstall this browser and get rid of all problems facing because of this browser? What solution can anyone suggest here?

When i open certain websites, the font is displayed cryptically (see picture).It doesn't always affect the whole website, just some texts on the side. I found a workaround by disallowing websites from using their own fonts in the settings. But neither a new installation of firefox nor resetting the settings, caches an cookies, etc. helped, or disabbeling the firewall etc.. In other browsers or when i log in my account on other PC´s everything is displayed properly.

No sound on browser only. None of the listed Firefox troubleshooting steps solved it. My system sounds and media player sound are working but nothing from the browser on any websites. This just started yesterday. Re-setting Firefox did not fix the problem.

I have been using Firefox for a long time certainly all this century, I regret to say that you have done something to the system such that I am unable to get into online banking and on some sites I get a message something to do with a frame whatever that is. I regret to say that i have been forced to make Edge my default browser When you have cured the problem please advise and I will revert to making Firefox my default. Many thanks Graham Blackburn

Cannot open Spectrum.net, getting a message that reads:

The page isn’t redirecting properly

An error occurred during a connection to www.spectrum.net.

   This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies.

Have never had this problem before. Tried changing to allow set cookies instead of default but didn't work

I'm having a problem sharing websites with others via, for instance, Signal. Telegram, WhatsApp or a social medium. There used to be a share button in the toolbar, but this I cannot find anymore. At some time there were also the three dots in the address bar that dropped down a menu for the page, which included a 'share' option. These dots seem to have vanished. Also I vaguely remember that the "share" function was also in he tab context menu once upon a time. However dropping down that menu does not reveal any "share" function presently. Then there was, if I remember correctly, the possibility to click the File menu at the top of the screen and then click on the Share menu item over there. But also there the "share" function seems to have vanished. I also looked in the settings menu, to find if there is a setting there which switches on or off the sharing function. I could not find such a setting. In short, it seems that I am horribly overlooking the "share" function. Please help me find it. Thanks. (Firefox 112 for Manjaro Linux)

When I go to Settings Firefox shows that it is the default browser and there isn't an option for changing it to not being the default browser for Windows, Google, and other items that I save to my Documents.

I currently have a setting checked telling Firefox to delete all cookies when closing. I want to set some exceptions but cannot uncheck that setting hence I cannot make the exceptions. So how can I make exceptions so as to save some cookies upon closing? Please be specific as I am not familiar with a lot of assumed firefox computer jargon. Thanks

Anyone know how to stop floating videos on Firefox anyone know how to stop floating videos on Firefox 112.0.1? This just started happening 2 days ago. Dailymail.com is the worst. No problem at all if I use Edge. I do have ghostery but Daily Mail gives popup saying to disable my ad blocker. Strange, because I also have ghostery on Edge. Again, no problem using Edge, just Firefox. Drives me up a wall.

When I go to certain web sites, (Xfinity, Blue Cross Blue Shield), a message pops up saying, "This page is slowing down Fire Fox. To speed up your browser, stop this page". When I go into Safe Mode, I can get to those sites. How can I get rid of this message/problem? Fire Fox has current update as does my Mac.

My laptop was stolen. In my new laptop I try to open all my sync tabs at once, but I can't. I signed in, I see all the sync tabs under the "sign out", but how can I open them all at once? I read that I should right click the devise name to do that, but I can't right click it.
