I had two FireFox windows open, each with multiple tabs. I had to close FireFox to run some updates on my PC and clear a large cache of cookies. When I reopened FireFox one window reopened, complete with all of the tabs just as I had left them. The other window didn't reopen. How can I get this window and all the tabs back please?

I would like to know WHY I am CONSTANTLY told about a Firefox update and get a notice to install the update. This happens AT LEAST once a week and is known to happen multiple times in one day. I feel that I have some authority on this issue since I was an Assistant Vice President in charge of Management Information Systems for eight (8) years for an insurance brokerage firm and also became an Assistant Vice President in Information Technology when that company was bought by one of the largest insurance holding firms in the nation. Additionally, I have a degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Houston with a 3.96/4.00 GPA. So I think I know a little bit about what I'm talking about. If I had upgraded a system or subsystem in either of these companies with the frequency that Firefox is updated, I would have been fired within ninety (90) days at the most -- and I would have deserved such. I think Apple upgrades are frequent but they are with the frequency of a blue moon compared the the frequency of Firefox updates. Respectfully, updates with the frequency of Firefox updates indicate one thing and one thing only -- incompetency in design, programming, testing, or, worst possible case, all three.

You Tube videos won't play. I keep getting a message telling me to restart my device if they don't play. That doesn't work. I tried restarting the computer as well as the browser. Didn't work. I have cleaned the cache and cookies. Didn't help. I updated Firefox. Didn't need it. Didn't help. I am tech challenged. I tried Edge and You Tube videos play without any problems.

I use arch Linux on a laptop. For a long time (at least a year, maybe two?), I've had to load a module by hand every single time firefox restarts. I.e., navigate to /usr/lib64/pkcs11/libcoolkeypk11.so and attempt to load it...every time it says "unable to load module," however, it actually does load the module so you can click cancel or OK and then click on the module, which appears in the left-hand panel...then the functionality works. But when firefox is closed, upon restarting I have to repeat the process all over again. I also use Thunderbird for email and it never has this problem. Nor does "chromium" (just FYI). I prefer firefox so this has not deterred me from continuing to use it, but it is a pain and demands a needless waste of time every time the machine reboots or I have to restart firefox. Would be nice if someone finally fixed this silly problem.

The screen is 17cm deep. The header task bar is 4 cm deep and the bottom bar is 2 cm deep. This leaves me 11 cm of screen space, sometimes less if the message I am reading has large headers and footers. This has happened since changes were made to Firefox Mozilla. The icons and text are already a small size, there is just too much space around them. I am not tech minded so is there an easy way to deal with this. I hope so because I want to stay with Firefox.

I have created two custom print formats and also edited the PPD file to give them descriptive names ("LabSlip" and "Registration"). In the printer dialog they show up as 8 x 5 and 103 x 150 mm respectively, which is correct sizes but not the names I gave them. Other applications such as Text editor (image attached) and Chromium-browser show the names correctly.

So I have a HP Pavilion x360 and when I try to use it in tablet mode on Firefox and tap a text entry field, the on screen keyboard appears for a split-second and goes away. It doesn't do this for any other software on my PC but Firefox. I have noticed though, if I turn Autohide taskbar off, it doesn't disappear and it works. I want to know how to get it working with autohide taskbar turned on. Any advice?

Very minor issue here, but I have firefox pinned to my windows taskbar, and when I click to open it, it creates a separate icon to the right of my pinned icon. This results in two firefox icons on the taskbar, as in the attached picture.

Not a huge problem at all, but I do have a pretty cluttered taskbar and would love as much space as possible. Any suggestions?

When I save web pages as a PDF with Firefox, headers and footers appear on the saved PDF. However, if I later print the saved PDF, neither the headers nor footers are printed.

I'm currently using Firefox 106.0.5, but inability to get the headers & footers to print from this setup (MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 and a Brother MFC-7460DN printer) has been going on at least 8 months or more and through quite a few Firefox versions. At some prior point the headers and footers did print when I'd saved the PDF with Firefox. I have not changed the MacOS or the printer, so I'm pretty sure something with Firefox changed.

Is there a way I can get the headers and footers to print on PDFs I saved with Firefox using this older computer running MacOS Sierra? This can be important if I need the PDF as proof of payments etc. As mentioned, the headers and footers are visible on the PDFs on my computer but not when I print out those same PDFs.

The headers and footers do print if I've saved PDFs using Safari (12.1.2) on the same older mac computer running Sierra, and with Firefox on a newer mac computer running macOS Big Sur 11.6.1. (both using the same Brother printer mentioned above). So, I would say there doesn't seem to be a problem with a printer setting.

Thank you!

I received a message about a firefox update. I was assured that all my tabs would reopen after the update. The most important tabs did not reopen. I received the message "We're sorry, but something went wrong. The issue has been logged for investigation. Please try again later." If I was warned that some would not open because they were associated with my university account and perhaps linked to a log in -- IF I HAD BEEN WARNED -- I would have waited. No what do I do? Thank you.

Brand new computer running Win 11 v 21H2. I installed FF 106.05 and then the latest LastPass extension. The extension shows black on the toolbar but is unresponsive when clicked. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times but cannot get it to work. I do have the latest LastPass version. No one there can help me. Is there a way to fix it via config? I've used both LP and FF for many years. This the first time I've had this problem.

Appreciate any help. 6rtury
