Mozilla replaced the Feedback page with a "Challenges" page, so this looks like the only place to send real feedback. The Firefox 89 update appears to render Firefox as useless as Edge has become (at least for me). I don't need more pictures and an "experience." I need my toolbars to stay where I can find them, and I need to set them in the linear arrangement that I need to use them. To reveal any more would be "TMI," so I will just add this. I keep my update settings on manual in order to keep updates from crashing my custom accessibility settings. From what I read about the "ff" 89 update, I knew that "floating tabs" would be a disaster for me, so I did not even try it. I hope that Mozilla will at least consider a way for users to preserve their custom or "legacy" settings in the next update. The corporate culture that is Mozilla should remember that computers exist to serve people, not the other way around. Thank you and good-bye.

In the "Library" window, once a bookmark name is selected in the bookmark list (upper right) pane, the details (lower right) pane expands. This obstructs the view of the bottom portion of the bookmark list, preventing the bookmark to be double-clicked. See the attached screen shots:

(1) When a folder is selected in the folder list (left) pane, the details pane only shows its name.

(2) If the mouse pointer is moved to the bookmark list pane, the details pane remains unchanged.

(3) Once a bookmark name is clicked in the bookmark list, the details pane expands to show its name, location, tags and keyword. This is fine -- you can either single-click the bookmark name to see the details (as shown in the screen shot), or double-click to open it without taking a look at the details.

However, --

(4) Suppose the bookmark to be opened is toward the bottom of the list, and you want to double-click it.

(5) Upon the 1st click, the details pane expands to hide it, and you would end up missing the 2nd click. Presently, the only way around is to single-click the bookmark, roll up the screen, then click again, which is a bit too tedious.

This problem has been around for such a long time that I was hoping a lot of people complain to coerce a fix. Unfortunately, not so far.

Though surely not a big issue, this is frustrating enough to deserve to be rectified.

Hi, I recently switched to a new laptop and have transferred my profile. It seemed to work fine but now (about a month later) I've tried to find something from my history dating back from maybe 4 or 5 years and it doesnt exist.

I opened the old laptop and i can find it - it has history going back to 2015

When I load up the manage history window on the new laptop, there's nothing before 2020. How can I get the rest of my history back?

Thanks for your help

When I do a google search in Firefox (for Windows) the results are from a facebook search. I do not wish to use facebook for searching. The only way I have found around this is to open a private window in firefox, then go to google, then do the search. In this fashion the search results look like a normal google search. But if I just use a normal firefox window, then go to google, then do the search, the search results are from facebook search. I want nothing to do with facebook! Why is this happening and how do I get this to stop?

Hi Forum Folke,

STILL having issues with being unable to make purchases from a number of sites (Steam notably) via paypal. Their method involves a pop-up window in which to make the payment. I JUST upgraded Firefox today, and before, I used to at least get the popup window, even if it didn't work; now, I don't even get the window. I get a brief "working" message on the bar across the bottom of the browser, then nothing. Same in an incognito (private) window. Don't know what's going on; I haven't changed anything, and this process used to be trouble free, but somewhere along the line, a few upgrades back, it stopped working. Only thing that's changed might be from Windows updates; don't have much control over that. Can't even turn off updates for more than a period of time. Really, if I have to take extraordinary measures to make Firefox work (shut down and re-start in 'safe mode' or something) that I used to be able to do without any trouble at all, maybe it'd be a better idea to just use Chrome (or even Edge) to make purchases with. THEY have no trouble doing so, only Firefox, so if Windows IS changing things, why isn't it affecting them as well? Sorry if this is coming across as just tearing down Firefox; it's really not. I just don't understand why something that worked forever suddenly doesn't anymore, and only in this browser. I'd LOVE to get this fixed! I very much prefer Firefox for a lot of reasons over the other offerings, all of which I've tried. Thanks very much for any ideas!

As of a few days ago, forward/backward webpage navigation gestures do not work anymore. I have windows 10 installed on a dell xps, both are updated, system touchpad navigation controls have not changed, and switching the commands to different gestures does not return the functionality of being able to quickly go forward or backwards through websites. VERY frustrating. Ran a system check on my computer using the command prompt and no files were found to be corrupted. I would like some advice on what to do next. I have looked up this problem so many times now that I keep circling back to pages I have seen already.

Certain websites are not displaying some text. I need to highlight the text in order to see it. I thought it was the dark theme i was using but after turning it off I was still having this issue. Loaded a page on Edge and it looks fine. I'll load a picture to show the differences. The lower one is firefox and you'll see I've highlighted a bit of text above the guys head and below the login there's missing text. I can't think of another page this is happening but there's words needed to be seen when working with this one. There is another pc here this isn't happening to with firefox so maybe it's just this one but it working before the theme change.

                       Thanks

YouTube videos do not autoplay - I have to manually press play every time a new video starts. This is highly tedious because I use the miniplayer very frequently, and I have to close the miniplayer (I suppose I could skip this step), reopen Firefox, press play, reopen the miniplayer, and then repeat the cycle when a new video plays. I tried this with Microsoft Edge (which I hate with a passion), and didn't have this happen, so I'm pretty sure this is something with Firefox. Every time I tried to look this up, i never found someone with this issue, so I'm pretty sure it's something I did, and I can't figure out how to undo it ahah.

If anyone knows what I can do to fix this, help is appreciated.
