MacOS Sequoia 15.7.7; Firefox 141.0.2

The "one sentence" in the heading states the problem. I am unable to use Firefox. Using Safari to make this post.

Firefox loads. It opens windows (I had fourteen open when I last used it successfully; I have many, many tabs). Then it removes each window from the screen. Firefox is in the Menu bar, but no windows are displayed. The windows still show in the list when selecting Window in the menu bar. Selecting a window in that list has no visible effect. File>New Window opens a new window, which works as expected. With one new window open, File>New Window opens a second.

Typing a few characters in the address bar opens a dropdown with a list of tabs, each with the affordance, Switch to Tab. Clicking on one takes down the list but does not open a window.

I would like, for a start, instructions on how to use Firefox starting afresh with no windows. First: having set aside the data that causes this problem. I suppose that might be simply a new profile. But would like instructions from a person interested in pursuing the problem with me while I continue with the rest of my life.

I'm willing to delete some data from the failing profile, is there is reason to do that, but would like to preserve at least a list of the URLs of the tabs of the windows. Or to learn how to see those in the profile data.

I see four profiles:

Firefox deleted many folders in my bookmarks file. Then, trying to straighten this out, Firefox has completely changed its home page layout and I can not manage it even in the simplest way. I want to restore everything to how it was two or three days ago.

I just made your suggested "reorganisation" of the Firefox Browser with the result that all my hard collation of all my bookmarks, website and passwords are presently gone!!! I can only hope that you have a possibility to recover my datas.

Please advise your instruction to recover my websites, bookmarks etc.

The last automatic browser update (147.0.3 (aarch64)) has wiped off all changes I made to bookmarks and passwords from the past year.

How can I go back to a previous version and recover my details?

This browser version is terrible and looks exactly like Microsoft Edge which is not intuitive at all. I don't want to set up multiple personas, Its just me and the one computer?

Running windows 10. I installed the newest vewrsion of Firefox, and now I can see or find bookmarks anywhere. I tried the tutorial but I dont see anywhere in my computer where a list of bookmarks are.

I lost all of my bookmarks and saved passwords with the latest update. How can I revert back to my old version so I can at least save them to a file to be imported?
