I was able to login with my password. I got a notice popup from Fox Fire saying that I should change my PW. My PW is old. I do not understand why I received this message. Maybe tech could check my setup to make sure everything is working correctly. Thanks Lois Stiles [edited] E-mail [edited] [edited]

Why is there in about:config no reference to documentation of the displayed settings?

e.g. browser.chrome.toolbar_tips.hide_on_keydown

What is it? What is the meaning of the values? What is the default value? Why do we have to guess?

It is probably documented somewhere (I hope). Why is there no reference to it in about:config?

How can mouse hover be disabled? On some websites (e.g. gva.be) when you hover (unintentionally) over some link, then this link is opened as if you had clicked on it.

How can this be disabled? I searched in about:config for mouse hover but I couldn't find anything relevant. Or do I need an extension to disable this behaviour?

Hello, is it possible to disable or alter the hotkey for viewing source? It is overriding my config for gtk-3.0, settings.ini, where gtk-key-theme-name=emacs. While I do have the emacs keybindings go to start of line, go to end of line, and delete to end of line but not this (personally) most used hotkey. I looked in about:config for source, but those appear to only modify the tab/window/editor which the source is viewed in, but not the shortcut to reach it. It does work for most of my applications, except fltk-based ones and ones where the application sets its own macro overriding the gtk config.

Steps to recreate:

  1. Open any website
  2. Make any css changes. These will be shown in the Changes tab in the dev tools
  3. Close dev tools, then re-open. Now those changes won't be shown

Sometimes I need to close dev tools in order to see how the web page would look normally.

I am very, very tired of FF updating constantly and - if I don't download it myself - it updates without my permission and in the case this morning, lost all my gaming info. because I had my computer set to empty the cache when I log out of FF. I used to love FF, but this constant updating is getting old. I get that you guys have security issues to deal with, but this is just ridiculous. I'm seriously considering going to Edge which I had sworn I'd never do.

I was wondering if there any option to make my savings more structured, here is an example what i mean: all my downloads are saved in "\Downloads" or i can select it EVERYTIME i download ANYTHING from ANYWHERE, this sucks and i want it to be like this: "\Downloads\web.url\" so it gonna be like: "\Download\youtube.com\" or "\Downloads\gtihub.com\" and i want to have an option to define custom folders for each website, for example for github.com i want set this path: "E:\github-dl\", in my case, E: is my external hard drive. This solution will make user downloading experience much better and our filesystem will say thank to you! I hope you got my idea, i tried to search any extension in your shop, and chrome market but i didn't find any luck, so im asking you directly. I also never saw this kind of feature in any other browser so you could be the ever first one:)
