lloyds bank uk has always worked for last 16 years, does not now the dialog box they produce on a change details process should end up with a code they generate. nothing appears so i cannot access my account even after going through on helpline. their suggestion is that i should change to Chrome!

Summary: Uploading a file to a custom webapp with Chromium (Edge) works but consistently fails in Firefox. In Firefox the request is created, and times out. The server receives no file and logs “missing file.” The same webapp code is running on both Chromium and Firefox.

• Server: export const config = { api: { bodyParser: false } } + multipart parsing (formidable)
• Edge/Chromium: Version 141.0.3537.85
• Firefox Version 147.0.3 (64-bit)
• OS: Ubuntu 22 / Linux

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a FormData object and append a local file:

1. In Edge/Chrome, upload succeeds. Server receives multipart body and parses the file. Actual behavior in Firefox:

• Transferred: 0 B
• No response status/body
• Client times out (Upload times out)
• File upload request received
• No bytes read server‑side.

Evidence:

• Edge request logs:
  • content-type: multipart/form-data; boundary=----WebKitFormBoundary...
  • bytesRead ~1.69MB
• Firefox request logs:
  • Transferred 0 B
  • File upload missing file field

Notes:

• Client FormData is valid; we log file.name and file.size right before fetch.
• There is a CSP report‑only warning (frame‑ancestors) when using a fallback iframe approach, but we are not using iframe in the failing case.

Question: Is there a known issue where Firefox blocks or fails to send and multipart/body can be stripped before it leaves the browser? Is there a recommended workaround that does not rely on browser sniffing?

I am running the latest firefox version 147.0.3 64-bit. Gmail opens and runs fine on duck duck go and brave. Cannot find any info on how to solve/fix/override/whatever on "numeric code 4" but seems like other folks experience, too. I appreciate your help.

I want to be able to make voice and video calls via facebook messenger using my PC camera and microphone but, the message I get is that "voice and video are not supported on this browser (Firefox/Mozilla) . It is supported on other browsers. I really don't want to switch browsers, I love firefox. I did find a couple possible fixes via advanced WebRTC settings but everything seems fine, i.e. it is clicked on true not false. I need this soon, can we get settings changed?

I am on iMac Tahoe 26.5.1. I cannot use Netflix, or HBO Max. Both say that my brower is out of date. My sofware indicates that my Firefox is the *latest version available. Please advise.

I'm seeing a strange issue in Firefox when using an online work-hours calculator for payroll calculations.

When I enter certain hour and minute values and convert them to decimal hours, Firefox occasionally returns a slightly different rounded result compared to Chrome on the same machine. Because these figures are used for payroll, even small rounding differences can be problematic.

I've already tried clearing the cache and testing with extensions disabled, but the behavior remains.

Has anyone experienced browser-specific rounding or calculation differences in Firefox with JavaScript-based calculators? Is there a way to identify whether this is a Firefox issue or something related to how the site handles numeric calculations?

When sites do load, they are often without stylesheets, and page elements do not work (possibly indicating scripts are not loading)

I cannot correct misspelled words when using Proton Mail. It has worked in the past, until recently. Perhaps the latest Mozzilla update? In the body of my email Proton email shows the words which are misspelled but I cannot right click to correct the spelling. Proton never seemed to support the "subject" field typos but did support spelling correction in the body of the email. The spelling correction works properly in Google docs.

Spelling correction is turn on in Firefox settings.

In Firefox, a lot of my pages are not loading at all...the tab just shows that the website page is loading but it never does. The menus of the website will appear, but pages are not loading. This is not happening in MS Edge. I prefer Firefox, but lately have had to go to MS Edge to load pages. What could be happening?

I run 115.37.0esr (64bit) on a Windows 7 pro system. Recently I cannot look at either Home Depot or Lowes websites. I can see them on Chrome. I have no other trouble viewing websites, just these two. Can anyone tell me why and more to the point tell me how to fix it.
