I'm not sure what this feature is called in Firefox lingo...

On my Mac, Firefox will remember which windows belong on which virtual desktops, and so open up with them on the correct (well, not exactly, but sorta) virtual desktops after a restart of the app.

On my new Windows 10 installation, though, Firefox has learned that a specific window was moved to virtual desktop 2, and now INSISTS that that window should always open on the desktop after a restart, regardless of on which desktop that window was actually placed when Firefox was shut down.

Is there a quick fix for this issue, or at least some way to disable this feature?

YouTube only on Firefox has terrible stutter/frame pacing issues, most prevalent when watching 4k/60 content. "Stats for nerds" shows a healthy buffer and minimal dropped frames. This issue is not present when watching local videos or on Microsoft Edge. The issue can be alleviated by watching in 1080p60 but stutter/judder is still present. The issue is not resolved no matter what power or performance options I choose in my laptop's settings. Any help is super appreciated, as I really don't want to open Edge every time I need to use YouTube. Thanks!

My browser has become unreliable and flaky. Bookmarks are changed each time I open it. New bookmarks are added and duplicate bookmarks appear. I also have two Firefox icons on my taskbar. What's going on here? Can you help? Thanks, Tom C

have had trouble with outlook all day. Now, every attempt to gain access to email results in "secure connection failed." Website has worked for many, many years, so what is problem/fix?

Aliexpress.us will not load - Firefox cannot/will not redirect. Cleard cookies/catch, etc.- put exception for website in privacy. No change. Safari loads website just fine. Any ideas? OSX 15.2

Over the past several days, Firefox has been randomly shutting down. When reopened, my previous tabs have disappeared. While setting up my laptop on a docking station today, I had to reboot several times. Every time it reopened my previously opened tabs are gone. Yes, I have Settings set to re-open Firefox with previously opened tabs. It has worked beautifully for me for years. Does anyone know what is going on? What I can do?

I have been using an add-on/extension (Calendar Data Extractor) in Google Sheets to extract data from a Google calendar. It used to work perfectly in Firefox but now it no longer appears as an extension when I use Firefox.

I tested it in Chrome and it is still functioning perfectly with Chrome. However, as Firefox is my preferred browser and default browser, I would like to find out if it is a setting in Firefox or a wider issue preventing it from appearing. Perhaps the developer hasn't updated the add-on for Firefox.

The first image below shows it appearing in Chrome. The second image shows what it looks like in Firefox.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi, Firefox been really bad on Linux the past few months, it suffers from a severe memory leak in this following situation: - Multiple tabs, especially if they are in the private mode - The browser and these tabs are kept opened for few days - On linux I tried all the latest updates, I tried different types of firefox (waterfox ESR ZEN etc.), I disabled all addons, I tried all types of linux (debian, rpm, opensuse, and others), the problem is the same, it will have a big memory leak (32 gb ram) that it eats up all the ram, if I want to save an image it takes few minutes to save one, and recently it just crashes. This problem happens only on Linux, I have firefox account and it syncs the addons on my other windows machine, I have far more tabs opened and I have them opened now for weeks, and it's working as expected and smoothly with no issues, so it must be with the linux package.

A couple of days ago, my work laptop popped up a message that said: (from firefox) couldn't load XPCOM (OK)

Today, same work computer, another message popped up from firefox: Entry point not found. The procedure entry point ?WindowsOleAut32initialization@mozilla@@YA_NXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Users\Berlye\AppData\Local\Mozilla Firefox\xul.d

I have absolutely no idea what this means except that FireFox will not open. I am a very senior citizen and totally electronically challenged, so I need help in a-b-c fashion as to what this means and why I can't open Firefox on my work laptop.

I am no longer able to log into my Spectrum email using Firefox as my browser. I can login using Chrome. Firefox worked fine until I tried logging in on November 21 and then I ended up in a loop. I can access other parts of Spectrum, just can't get to mail. I have it set up to transfer to Outlook and than works fine. Spectrum says there is nothing they can do about it.

Has anyone else had this experience? If so, were you able to resolve it?

1. some webpages extremely slow loading while others are fine. All load fine on Chrome. Why? Particularly true with https://www.tab.com.au/ that I use 2-3 times a week. In Chrome it's immediate connect.

2. cannot sign in to my members account on (eg) Choice but easy on Chrome. Why?

Love Firefox when it works but I'm getting so frustrated. Seriously considering going back to Chrome - reluctantly.

Also so many website/page freezes & non responses over last ~3 months. Grrrr

There are reports of conflicts between Firefox performance and Sequoia, how to resolve it? I would like to update from my current MacOS and I‘m not willing to give up Firefox as my primary browser. Could I get advice when it‘s save to update? Best regards RB
