When right-clicking on the Firefox icon in the Windows task bar one has the option to "pin" items by hovering over an entry in the "frequent" list and clicking on the little pin needle icon (with the hover text "Pin to this list").
How can I pin items that are not in the frequent list? I have tried for weeks to make an important page a frequent one by making sure to visit it daily but it never makes it to the list.

I would like to rename one such entry (i.e. change the description). How can I do this? The context menu only contains the options "Open" and "Unpin from this list".

Hello everyone! Windows 10, Firefox 146.0.1 (64-bit) I'm trying to synchronize my account, but there is no "Sign in to account" or "synchronization" function in the settings menu on the left. When I log in via the command line using https://accounts.firefox.com/signin, I can log in, but neither the account itself nor the synchronization button appears in the settings. What should I do? The Firefox auto login of a default site feature has become a supreme annoyance. Being insufficiently Firefox savvy to be able to disable this unhelpful feature (in my case). Can someone please help with avoiding or disabling this feature so that the initial site selection is left to the user, other than totally avoiding Firefox which I otherwise find highly functional and enjoyable.

I have uninstalled Adobe Acrobat from my Mac Mini running Sequoia OS. Acrobat is not listed in my Firefox extensions. Yet, when I open a PDF from a link in an email, it opens in Acrobat (clearly announced as such with its logo) in a Firefox tab. Also, I have my Firefox setting for PDF files set to "Open in Firefox".
Acrobat is a vicious plague on my life, and I want it gone. Please assist me in ridding it from my Firefox use.
