When I have FF open, then close all windows but still have FF active, I hit CMD-T or CMD-N to bring up a new tab or window and nothing happens. I repeat, repeat, repeat and still nothing. THEN if I click on the FF icon in my dock, all the tabs and windows appear in a cascade of windows or tabs like bam, bam, bam.....

This happens on two MacBook Pros around 2016 vintage. This is a new behavior this week.

Hi, I am having problems with mozilla. I uninstalled mozilla a few weeks ago because I sent my pc to service. When I received it, I tried to restore my profile backup using pasting the files saved in the profile folder. Since then mozilla has become unmanageable as when I open it it is as if it is always the first time, i.e. no history is saved, cookies and also it automatically takes the information (bookmarks, passwords and history) from chrome and puts those into mozilla.

Today, clicking on a brand new bookmark works and shows it's url at bottom of page when hoovering mouse over bookmark. None of the older bookmarks are working and none show the url at bottom of page.

I cannot sync my new laptop to my computer and iPhone. I have tried for 3 days without any luck. Could someone PLEASE help me with this problem??

When I query a subject, I cannot see the following choices under the search bar: "All", "Images", "Video", "News", "Maps", "Shopping" and "Settings". It only happens once if I restart my computer, but after that I only see "All Regions" and "Anytime" below the search bar.

Firefox- You have really screwed the pooch with this update. Half the websites I visit today are broken in some way, and the other half are displayed incorrectly (as in being about 4 pages wide and who knows how many tall). I missed a couple of important bids cause I couldn't get to the links I needed to buy something before they expired. Why was this needed? You can do security updates all day long, but you had to change how every website on the planet LOOKS???? Plus, YOUR crap on the page takes up one third of the screen real estate. I trusted you for years as being NOT Microsoft. Guess that is truly over, as this is an absolute travesty...

Please god help me. I am trying to change my password and it tells me my old password is incorrect. I sign in using the only password I have with Firefox, and use the same one to try and change it, but it keeps giving me this error message. I'm about to put my face through the monitor.

For quite some time I've been having issues with sound in Firefox, specifically that there isn't any. I've tried some things to fix the problem but haven't found any solutions. The problem is isolated to Firefox as Chrome and other apps will play video with sound. It's also not limited to certain websites. What's interesting is when I open the soundmixer, it shows a green bar going up and down as if there is audio playing. I've also tried troubleshooting mode without any success. Other things I've tried are: - Updating drivers (everything was up to date) - Re-installing Firefox - Allowing Firefox to automatically play video with sound

Any ideas?

How can I sync my Firefox browser? It always asks for my Primary Password. I tried resetting my password, deleting/recreating my account, and I'm always asked for the "Primary Password". I can log into Firefox Accounts with my e-mail and known password, but I can't reach the sync option because I'm always asked for the "Primary Password", which seems to be out of sync with my Firefox Account.

When trying to clear cookies and site data on first opening Firefox 103.0, on a iMac 10.15.7 I typically have 363 KB of Cashed Web Content even after browsing in Privacy mode and shutting Firefox down. When attempting to erase this data it always leaves 264 KB until I take other measures to get rid of the data. Why is this?

Second when opening Firefox I get a mozilla.cloudflare-dns.com notice which I deny access to. What is the purpose of this connection?

Third I also get mozilla.cloudflare-dns.com plugin-container attempt which I also block. What is the purpose of this connection?

When allowing for the latter two access attempts I get multiple connection attempts which I don't get when I block them, nor does the browser encounter any other problems when they are blocked.

I turned off my laptop last night as I do each night. Opened it up today and my Mozilla browser has changed and it's enlarged! And each and every page I go on is enlarged. NO matter how many times I have shut down and turned back on it's the same. Even if I reduce the page by holding the - control to shrink the page it happens when I reopen that page again or another page. What can I do??? WTF is goin' on??? And why the *uck isn't there a toll free # to call for technical support!!!! + ALL my side extensions are gone off my task bar!!!!! ARG!!!!

In trying to copy a record of donations from cybergrants.com, which has the following fields (Organization Information Type Description Status), the organization name values are not copied, while the rest of the data copies just fine. I have done this without any problems in the past so something has changed recently. I did contact cybergrants and they say it's a browser problem and they can't help. Everything copies fine using Chrome, but Firefox is my default browser and I'd prefer not to have to switch for this problem. The other weird thing about the copy is that the column names (listed above) do copy just fine--all four of them, but only the data for the last three columns gets copied for pasting into spreadsheet. Please let me know a solution to this--thanks!

I have Windows 10 scaling set at 140%. This morning when I started Firefox, the scaling jumped to 175. If I change it back to 140% in Windows 10, it changes to 175% as soon as I start Firefox.

Is there a way to stop this?
