I can log into Firefox, but if I try to click on nay other websites, the URL comes up, but nothing loads. I try to refresh the page, but the refresh 'circle' is greyed out and doesn't work. Then it's as if my mouse pointer is broken; I can't click on anything. Everything works fine in EDGE and other browsers. This seems to have happened after the last Firefox update. I have cleared my cache and data, and refreshed Firefox. So far, no good.

Hello,

I appreciate very much the recent security changes in Firefox 127, about mixed content. I think it really does improve both security and privacy, but I have HTTPS websites in a local network (private IP addresses) that load some images from a local IP camera over HTTP. I do not have control over these IP camera images, so as a temporary workaround I am allowing the whole website to be delivered over plain HTTP.

It's not a huge security issue, because it's on a local network which I access over the Internet via a VPN, but I would prefer to keep the website on HTTPS and allow mixed content for this specific IP address, so to keep the protection fully enabled when I browse the Internet.

Is there a way to enter a specific IP address in an exception list, so to selectively allow mixed content? Or, in alternative, is it possible to specify that all web requests from private IP addresses (RFC 1918) should allow mixed content?

Many thanks,

Piero

I disabled all addons and still it says the same error. Is it because of Facebook encryptions? I also could before. So what now?

I'm not sure where the issue is exactly, but I suspect its something to do with different standards of storing images in clipboards.

If you see the images, this is a screenshot of an Excel grid, taken using win 11 snap tool (shift+win+s). I paste this into paint.net (5.0.12) Then select all and copy/paste into Confluence using Firefox. The edges of the images are either shifted, or a line is added.

If I use Paint instead of paint.net, it is ok. If i use Edge instead of Firefox, it is ok. Saving the file as png and importing it and its ok. Pasting from paint.net into Powerpoint and its ok.

Any ideas what is causing this or how to fix it? I'm going to ask Atlassin (Confluence) and paint.net help as well.

It was tried to access an infected archive

The line ending with "Firef" may indicate that lines are truncated.

Any suggestion what to do ? Reinhard

I wish to remove the ugly looking line between my custom home button and the first tab. You can find that on the top left. I already have userChrome.css set up and I found no help on the r/FirefoxCSS subreddit.

My userChrome.css code:

```
root {
--toolbar-field-focus-border-color: transparent !important; --toolbarbutton-inner-padding: 10px !important; --toolbarbutton-border-radius: 2em !important; --urlbar-container-padding: 0px !important; }
  1. nav-bar {
box-shadow: none; }
  1. urlbar {
padding: 8px !important; }
  1. urlbar-background {
background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255) !important; border-radius: 16px !important; box-shadow: rgb(230, 230, 230) 0px 0px 5px 0px !important; }
.tab-background { border-radius: 16px !important; box-shadow: rgb(225, 225, 225) 0px 1px 5px 0px !important; }
.tabbrowser-tab .close-icon{ border-radius: 2em !important; margin-right: 0px !important; }
.tabbrowser-tab .close-icon:hover { background-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.05) !important; outline: none !important; }
  1. tabs-newtab-button:hover > .toolbarbutton-icon {
background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.25) !important; border-radius: 2em !important; }
  1. PlacesToolbarItems .bookmark-item {
padding: 5px; margin: 25px; }
  1. navigator-toolbox { border: none !important;}
  1. PersonalToolbar {
box-shadow: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1) 0px 1px 4px !important; } ```
For anyone who can be of EXTRA help, I wish to also fully round the search bar in my "about:home" which you can see is underneath the FireFox logo. I want to add my own custom border radius of "2em" and remove the blue outline when selected.
Hi,
WSJ opinion pages won't load fully on Firefox. The same webpage works on other browsers. This has been a recurring issue ever since I switched over to Firefox. It's the main reason why I still keep Google Chrome around.
I've tried updating to the newest version of Firefox and also iOS. Also, clearing my cache/cookies works sometimes but the problem keeps coming back.
Attempting to log-in on Twitch with Firefox Browser - Developer version 122.0b9 (64-bit) is currently not possible, repeated messages are prompted by the Twitch website about "unsupported browser" and to contact browser support to resolve this issue.
Clearing cache, disabling extensions did not work. Using regular Firefox works without issues, only noticed this being an issue after most recent update for Firefox Dev browser.
Side effect as well since update is that any Cloudflare captcha is impossible and all website that use Cloudflare to "authenticate" that I'm human just outright fail or continue indefinitely.
So I’m looking at a help document in a web page. It tells me to push this button or that. So I go the affected app and try to find the button mentioned in the help file. Can’t find it, so return to Firefox to re-read the help file. The window is gone. I can find the tab for it, so I can open it pretty quick, but why do I have to? Why does that window have to close? This is yet another reason to switch from Firefox to something else.
