I continuously have a problem trying to get the location scroll bar to execute when I bookmark an item. It never scrolls twice consecutively, and I have to keep opening and closing the scroll to get it to function properly. I bookmark several news articles, stories, etc. every day, and I get kinda snarly after awhile. Any relevant help would be welcome and appreciated. Thanks.

Running 154.0.1 on MacOS 26.6.1. Sometimes firefox stops working and I think I'm having an internet issue. No page able to load, not even a google search. I see the cache is full at 1gb and I clear cache for the last hour. Browser starts working again. To me, the problem doesn't seem like not enough cache capacity but the browser refusing to evict old, stale cache. How do I fix this other than manually clearing the cache? This seems like a bug that should be fixed.

Mozilla passkey will not download to thumb drive. Am I missing something when attempting to set up a passkey through USB connection? Using Windows 10 on a laptop. Regards, George

1- Firefox shows I have windows 10. Not so. I have windows 11 home, version 25H2. This may be problem that causes the issues. 2- Since Update months ago, profiles, bookmarks and passwords disappear constantly only for me to replace manually the bookmarks and passwords to disappear over and over again. Don't need multiple profiles just one that works as in the good old days. Used it for years but cannot find help and ready to delete and just use microsoft edge. Totally out of patience. ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

I got a message Firefox software was not updating. I was sent a download in .exe link. ALL of my tabs are not accessing the addresses. I checked Restore All Crashed Tabs. No resets are happening.

Is this due to a bug in the upgrade? What are Mozilla's actions to fix this. I have used Firefox successfully on my high end HP OMEN PC. I do all I can to avoid Microsoft, Google, etc.

I've been using the split view feature and really like it... however I constantly find myself doing the following:

Having a split view open with related pages, for example a list view in the left pane, and I want to open one of the items in the list view in the opposite pane, currently I have to:

1. Copy the url in the left pane 2. Switch to the right pane 3. Target the address bar 4. Paste the url 5. Load the new url

Ideally an additional 'open link in x' option could be added specifically when a user is in the split view, that will open the link directly in the opposite pane of the current split, so left > right or right > left.

My question is, is there is a way to do this already; I cannot find any reference to this in the docs.

"Open Link in Opposite Split View" would be perfect.

Также я скачал Firefox Developer Edition также вошел под тем же профилем, но хочу чтобы панель вкладок была своя, и не пересекалась с обычным Firefox. Можно ли так сделать? или нужно создавать вторую учетную запись для разработки в Firefox Developer Edition

this exact question has been asked last year, none of the suggestions work: I am running Firefox 154.01 on Winux I have lost sound on Firefox. I have opened the same sites in Chromium and the sound is working fine. It's only in Firefox. I have tried several sites including , YouTube, and radio programs, no sound from Firefox. All of a sudden the sound disappeared. The speakers is turned on the volume is up, just not a sound from Firefox. What to do? Right now I had to switch over to Chromium

I have tested this a couple dozen times over a few days . When I use the Proton VPN extension in Firefox it is broadcasting in plain text( sni= plain text ) .Using Firefox without the vpn extension broadcast is encrypted . When I use the Proton VPN app sni=encrypted every single time . Why ?

When attempting to download extensions on the addons.mozilla.org site, I am continually met with a "An Unexpected Error Occurred." Sometimes clearing cookies fixes the issue, although sometimes I have to clear cookies and restart the browser. This is an issue that has persisted despite changing profiles - even when creating brand new ones to check.

I am stumped because every other mozilla page seems to work fine and about:addons seems to work fine until I try to download one of the recommended extensions there. It then throws the same error, or my inputs just don't work. When I try to open an addons' page in a new tab it just doesn't load. The site will not load in Troubleshoot mode either.

My extensions seem to be working fine! Thus I am really stumped and cannot figure out the issue. I have tried turning my VPN (Proton) off, but that has not seemed to have an effect on the issue. I perused the form but didn't see anything immediately that seemed similar to my issue. Can anyone help?

I'm wondering if there is a compatibility issue with the built-in Firefox VPN and the DoH settings. I have the DNS over HTTPS set to 'custom' with the default option of Cloudfare

With the VPN turned on 1.1.1.1/help shows that I am not connected or using DoH, but the second I turn the VPN off I am connected and using DoH. It seems that the Firefox VPN uses Fastly as its DNS and not the DoH settings I selcted.

Is there a way for the VPN+DoH to work together? Admittedly I'm very new to trying to be more secure/anonymous on the internet, but I was under the impression that having both is better than one or the other.

Am I missing something?

Firefox is saying that there is a problem with my Xfinity internet & advises me not to log in. This happens only on my mac. Firefox seems to work fine on my i pad & i phone. Safari does not show this warning & they are very strict about internet issues. how do I fix this problem?

I was creating two-factor authentication for my account and when I tried to create a passkey the only options were to use iPhone, iPad, or Android device, or Security key (see screenshot).

There's no option to add the passkey to a password manager (I'm using BitWarden).

I use a PC, Windows 11. All my bookmark titles still show, but when I click nothing happens, does not open, does not go to new page, nothing! This is now the second time on two different PC'S. on the first, I reloaded FireFox, nothing changed, so I delete complete (uninstalled) and reinstalled a fresh one. Of course I lost all my bookmarks!! Now, the exact thing has happened on my main PC, and I do not want to loose all my bookmarks! I can't even export them to a different browser!
