not sure if firefox has had users with email issues over weekend. unable to use menu items eg. move ;delete ;archive ; or lil box for selecting all ; or individual emails? do you know of a fix? tried logging out n going to webpage directly, to no avail . any ideas? phone app works fine

Hi. Can anyone tell me if it would be possible to display all 3 rows of toolbar bookmarks in my bookmark toolbar? It used to show 3 rows, but I changed my monitor's display settings to make the text bigger, and now I can only see the first row of bookmarks at the top of the screen in Firefox. Thanks.

Problem: Scrolling in firefox is feeling weird: instead of smooth scrolling with 2 fingers (like on smartphone with 1 finger) firefox scrolls only by steps only when I move my fingers enough to trigger scrolling. In other applications I can scroll smoothly and fully control scrolling, I can scroll exactly N pixels if I want. In firefox I can only move by N pixels per M cm fingers movement on touch pad.

It's feeling as indirect input. I can feel same feeling on Windows with simple mouse. Firefox scrolls slower than Opera.

How to reproduce and find difference with other applications:

1. Download Firefox and another application with direct input (Opera or Telegram for example)
2. Scroll Firefox
3. Scroll another application

I have the problem asked in [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1297208], and indeed I had turned on/true privacy.resistFingerprinting. But I've turned it off and reloading https://webbrowsertools.com/timezone/ still shows UTC time (though my system timezone is -0700 (CST)). I was going to ask what is wrong, when I realized I have to restart my browser. So submitting with that solution.

Login to google account - button redirects to my previous school's microsoft login which doesn't exist anymore and I can not login to an account without the schools ending after @ in the adress or it says its wrong. How to get into my existing drive or gmail?

I've been using multi-account containers for a long time. I've always used 'ctrl + shift + # of container' to open new tabs in a specific container. Recently, that feature has stopped working - but only for some containers? I can still open containers 1 and 2 using that shortcut, but my other containers just don't respond.

I've tried deleting the unresponsive containers and creating new ones, but that doesn't fix the problem. They work great otherwise - I can still open them with my mouse. Is there a fix for this?

After installing Firefox (103.0.2) on a clean install of Manjaro (21.3.7) Gnome (42.4), I started noticing that mouse hover effects such as highlighted tabs, UI of a video-player appearing etc. are delayed after my PC exits hibernation (I am not sure if that is the only cause and if that really IS the cause). Weirdly enough the select menu I used to answer the "Which topic best describes your question?" question to create this post experiences no delay in highlighting the hovered element. Relaunching Firefox fixes this issue temporarily.

To be clear this is no performance issue since everything except mouse hover related interactions are fluid.

Tell me how to reduce the size of buttons, tabs, and everything else BUT the fonts in my browsers. All of them have been affected. I've exhausted all of the normal "look in Settings and use your brain" options.

1. i have firefox on my pc, now i installed it on my laptop 2. synced to my account on laptop 3. the internet went out halfway through the syncing process (only 3 addons or so installed and then it got stuck) so i closed my laptop and forgot about it 4. i opened firefox on my PC and the account synced 5. the addon bar flashed and all the addons except for 3 are now deleted (they are NOT disabled, they are completely gone from the addons page)

I don't remember the name of every addon i had installed but I need them back.

When I installed version 103 on Windows 10 yesterday, the Tabs, address panel row of icons and the onscreen bookmarks icons doubled in size pushing about half of them off screen. Can I get them back to the size the were?

I keep them on screen to facilitate use and work more effectively. Pushing them off screen reduces the effectiveness of Firefox for me. I spent too much time today trying to find options that would allow me to revert to the former format without uninstalling v.103 - without success.

HELP!!!!

Firefox 103.0 - 64bit; Windows 10. Since Monday, I have been unable to download anything. The download starts and after a couple of seconds reports "Failed". I have tried starting in safe mode and it still fails. I've done a refresh to no effect. I also have another machine which has the same Firefox version and a copy of the profile but still runs Windows 7. No problem with that one....

Anyone got any ideas?

I've just updated my iMac which uses mac OS Monterrey12.5. As a direct result I can no longer use the Mozilla search window on the Foxfire Homepage. It's still there but it won't allow you to enter information into the box. Is there either a way to restore the functionality of the search window or at least disable it in settings so I don't have to see the window and be reminded that it no longer works? Thank you in advance for whatever assistance or answers you can provide.

I think I may have accidently pressed a button and made the homescreen giant even though it shows as being at 100%. Does anyone know of a way to return to to normal?

Duplicating of bookmarks now sorted by clearing all, thanks. Now, in the drop faves the bookmark menu is missing but appears in left pane when manage tab pressed? what is going on!

Until FF100, I used to disable <Ctrl><W> (close tab) by modifying browser/omni.ja, commenting the following line out in chrome/browser/content/browser/browser.xhtml :

It worked until FF100, but doesn't work anymore in FF103 : commenting that line out seems to have no effect on <Ctrl><W>.

Does anybody know why ? Or does anybody know a way to disable <Ctrl><W> ?

Background : on French keyboards, the <W> key is right next to <X>, so when I try to do a cut/paste (<Ctrl><X> → <Ctrl><V>) I sometimes end up doing <Ctrl><W> by mistake, thus closing the tab. Re-opening the tab doesn't always do the trick, sometimes the latest work is lost.

After update of Firefox version 103.0.1 the symbols are too big and the size cannot be reduced (to small size). So too few symbols fit into a symbol line. How can this be fixed?

If i remember correctly Mozilla earns around 80% of their income from Google. I have said it before and i will say it again, Mozilla claims to stand for Privacy (maybe that was true in the past at some point) while Google is tracking Billions of Human beings 24/7 as they use Google as their Android Operating System, that can be considered very much anti-privacy. (Sadly majority of people either don't care or are to silly to install a different OS on their Phone).

Clearly this looks like a conflict of interest, one company want's privacy while the other one makes their money with tracking human beings and selling their data and then giving a part of that money to mozilla for using google as the default search engine in firefox.

If knownledge is power then how much power does google have? How much do they know about you? Your contacts, location, online searches and history, and so on... I seriously think people should quit google immediately, what this company is doing is literally criminal, unless ofcourse people are once again silly enough to let it happen.

Firefox says on it's website "At Mozilla, we believe that privacy is fundamental to a healthy internet." If true why do you BY DEFAULT have telemetry ENABLED and why do you BY DEFAULT use GOOGLE as search engine?? Something is obviously not right here. What is also very interesting is that this site support.mozilla.org is connected to www.google-analytics.com and to www.googletagmanager.com Im guessing this basically means when i use the mozilla support site or login with my account, google is also gathering data about me.

Google has become the cancer of the internet, way to many sites have it embed aswell as facebook. Shame on all those greedy people who allow this massive privacy invasion just for their own profit. But honestly at the same time, can you really blame them? After all the people who allow this to happen are responsible aswell, this is just disgusting. I woonder if the whole world would like to end up like china, because if not then what in the universe is wrong with people? Wakeup! As a final notice, i don't beleve that this is everything mozilla collects, surely your tight parnership with google analytics is able to identify every single firefox profile and connect it to the person using it.

I've worked with Firefox for several years, and had it opening maximized. I recently manually resized the Firefox window to facilitate some work in which I needed some other windows visible. However, now I can't get Firefox to open maximized. Instead, it opens a window going from the left edge of my screen (see the first image below) about a third of the width of the monitor, and it is showing the double box icon in the upper right corner indicating that the computer "thinks" it is in full screen. If I click that double box, the window immediately shifts to the right edge of the screen, occupying a space about a third of the monitor from the right edge, and shows a single box in the upper right corner of the window. If I click that single box, the window finally does expand to full screen, showing a double box in the upper right corner. I've tried all the manipulations I've seen concerning starting screen size (such as going to the shortcut icon properties and indicating the that the program should start "maximized") but I'm still getting this same behavior. Any thoughts? (I'm running Windows 11, with the latest version of Firefox.)
