Здравствуйте! В настройках установлено "запоминать историю", чтобы появлялись подсказки в заполнении форм. Однако эта функция не работает, а она мне очень нужна, так как я часто заполняю формы одними и теми же данными и значениями. В чем может быть проблема?

Firefox MAC freezes intermittently , will get spinning beach ball and status shows Firefox (Not Responding) and must force quit FF.

Sometimes FF after fresh down load from the official FF site for MAC will work great for an hour or half a day and then out of now where go into the spinning beach ball , and unable to enter data into any field - completly bricked and FF status shown as Not Responding. Tnis could happen immediately, or after an hour or anytime within a day or two.

No way of deciphering or determining what in the heck triggers it or why - way way too many factors and settings and variables both within the FF registry and the macOS and the activity I may or may not be doing at any given time.

I will say I experienced this when all apps on my MAC were shutdown, no apps up and running, but I do use Backblaze, Mai Backup X, Malwarebytes, Dropbox, MS NTFS Tuxera, DriveDX which all have ongoing background tasks running all the time or at least in the background from time to time.

However, I have used this setup for the last few years with Firefox MAC with absolutely no hiccup whatsoever.

And then immediately after the last FirForx update on Tahoe, just before I applied the latest 16.5.1 Tahoe upgrade is the intermittant freezing with FF started.

Could this be a FF / Tahoe incompatibility issue?

If not, does anyone out there have anything to fix this?

And yes i did a complete uninstall of all of FF hidden Library folders as well as the "firefox.app" itself - if anyone tells me to uninstall all the hidden FF folders and files in ~/Library one more time, then forget it, I am done using FireFox. Been there and done there a number of times the last week, exhausted with that, and doesn't do a thing.

And yes kept deleting and creating new FF profiles and did not fix the issue.

So does some great genius Mozzilla FF Mac SW engineer have any clue as to the real issue and the real fix without sending me on a wild goose chase?

I'm a beta update channel user, so this may not reflect what 'normal' users are seeing. I use Firefox in Linux, debian v13, so normal people that are using Windows or MacOS also might not see the changes I'm asking about? -- I have no way of knowing.

Anyway: in FF v152.0b6, the "Connection Settings" area seems to have disappeared entirely from the settings menu. I used this area of the settings frequently.

The ability to set proxy still exists in the about:config settings area. In the future, will about:config be the standard place to go for people that want to manually set (or toggle) an http/https proxy?

Firefox recently seems to be crashing randomly when I disconnect from VPN. At least I think it's crashing. This has maybe started a few weeks ago?

What happens is that when I disconnect from my VPN (ProtonVPN), I will randomly not be able to load any pages. If I go to any website, it will just get stuck loading forever. No timeout. I'm able to visit the browsers own pages like settings, some about: pages like about:performance, about:memory, etc.

Why I'm not sure if it's crashing is because the browser itself is not closing, I have to manually close the browser window. Once I close the window manually and wait a while, the crash reporter pops up. If I close the window manually then re-open it, theres a text prompt that shows up telling me Firefox is still open and if I want to close it to re-open Firefox.

I don't think it's the VPN's issue as when I disconnect from my VPN, applications other than Firefox work and have internet connectivity (a separate browser like Chrome, or discord, etc)

What I have tried:

• new Firefox profile
• Using Firefox Nightly
• Various ProtonVPN settings (but I don't think its related to ProtonVPN)
• Various Firefox network settings
• Both Firefox and Firefox Nightly Open, when disconnecting VPN one would stop letting me reach sites but other wouldn't

I have the crash report details (from Firefox and Firefox Nightly) but unsure where best to upload or if it contains any sensitive data.

And I also see this for maybe why the browser itself doesn't "crash" MozCrashReason: Shutdown hanging at step AppShutdownNetTeardown. Something is blocking the main-thread.

If it's okay to share the crash reports then I can add them.

So, I tried to delete that post, but it blocked the category of Science completely, so I had to unblock it.

But my point is, Why if I do not want to see this post about Seniors getting bathroom upgrades and I try to delete it does it make an entire category go away? I am sorry, but this is just goofy (trying to be polite here).

This is simply Not about Science whatsoever, that Seniors are getting bathroom upgrades if they live in these zip codes! Also this Same thing has been posted Multiple times in other Categories! Again, this post typically has Zero to do with the Category that it was posted in! I mean Zero Relevance or, more accurately, actually Less than Zero.

So, in the past, I was able to get rid of a post, but now, if I try, it blocks whatever category that the Ad was posted in! What?

Is this now the price of having Firefox? That I have to have postings that I can not either block or delete? Really?

Please explain and tell me why I can not target an individual ad from being posted. Thanks for your time. John D

I am having trouble logging in to my Firefox account. When I try to sign in, it does not work. I have already tried resetting my password, but the issue remains.

I've uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it and cleared the cache. And it's still either not linking to certain sites at all or not, opening them correctly or completely. I don't wanna spend any more time than necessary on this since i've tried various ways to fix the issue.. If you can help me, that would be great. I guess I could use chrome, but I have used firefox for years.And as a rule, haven't had any problems up until now.

I am on a 2024 M4 mac mini pro. I just updated Firefox to the latest version of the browser, version 151.0. Now, all the icons on my startup page are very small. I do not like this. How do I get my icons back to the size they were before this last update?

For the past three days (A/O 06/01/2026) I, (and others who have posted on various sites) cannot access a functioning log-in page for Google or Gmail via Firefox. If I (and others) use an alternate browser e.g., Edge, the log-in page functions and displays as it should. However, when using Firefox, the page displays as the image I've included - no functional 'log-in' icon and no Username or Password box. Using 'Private Viewing' makes no difference. As other browsers work, I will assume this is a Firefox issue. As there is no way to submit trouble tickets, I'll leave this here in hopes that someone from Firefox will pursue the issue.

AGAIN, IT SEEMS I LOST MY PASSWORDS AND CONSTANTLY HAVING TO CALL THE COMPANIES TO VERIFY IT'S ME? EVERYTIME I TRY TO DO THIS NOW IT SAYS "DOESN'T RECOGNIZED EMAIL?

I just installed Firefox on my PC haven't had it on this computer since reinstalling windows - I imported my bookmarks and passwords from Edge, thinking it would be a seamless transition, since I used Firefox in the past without much trouble.

Two weeks on, about 95% of every page I open gives an error similar to the one below, and I have to shift+refresh several times to get it to reload before it goes away, (some sites still don't open).

I wonder how common this issue is, and how people fixed it?

I tend to have a lot of tabs open at a time and even with the Customize Sidebar > Hide tabs and sidebar checkbox ticked, it is still distracting at times. Could you please help me find a setting/way so that I can hide it and make it re-appear when I hover on it only. Kinda like how we have on windows taskbar? Much appreciated.

Since a recent update, the shortcuts on my home page have moved up higher on the home page.

Previously, they were more in the middle of the page.

Is there any way to move them back down to the middle of the page? It just looks off to me. :)
