I cannot connect with my on-line banking site. When I try, I get the message "Bad Request--Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. I am able to access the site using another browser, so there cannot be a problem with the site itself. This situation has only existed since Firefox did an update. So, the problem must lie with Firefox. If it is not fixed, then I fear that I will have to discontinue using Firefox as my online browser. Accessing Planefinder.com. Have done so many times. After checking on a flight multiple times today, I acquired a notice that said I was blocked from accessing. Is this a scam? It says I entered a word or phrase that was unacceptable and thus am blocked. I can still use Planefinder on my cell phone. I only enter the plane information that is called for. What is going on?

Hello Again that white stripe at the top of the screen is back this PM: I refreshed firefox yesterday and it solved until now: have carried out the dirty dozen: updated FF yes, clear cache yes etc.

Can anyone help me in layman terms: I checked safari and it was OK there. would prefer FF : I use (have done so since its inception) DuckDuckGo as my home page .

Earlier this week, I was able to view routes in the Routes section of Strava without any issues. Since the recent browser update, that feature is no longer working for me.

Strava is one of the websites I use most frequently, and being able to access routes is important to my daily use. I’ve confirmed that the feature still works in Safari, but I would strongly prefer to continue using my current browser.

I also went through Strava’s help chatbot, and they indicated the issue is likely browser-related. Since this was functioning earlier in the week and has since stopped, I wanted to report the problem and see if there’s a fix or workaround available.

I don't know which question best describes my question. I have always used Firefox because it had two boxes for searching. This meant that you could type a search into the second box while keeping the first box open. Now that second url box is gone. How can I get it back? I used it all the time!

I went through my laptop and turned off enhanced tracking protection for a variety of financial, work, etc. websites.

I was disappointed that this did not sync with my other computers.

Here's hoping Firefox developers will incorporate ETP exceptions into account sync.

Firefox suddenly has an AI assistant that pops up on a tool bar on the left side of the screen with a green dot beside it. I want to turn this off and make it disappear, if possible. Please tell me how to do that.

Hi, All my tabs and many pages are appearing in an unreadable nonsense font. This page is ok, except for the tab and url; others, such as the settings page, are entirely garbled. When I copy a snippet of this and paste elsewhere, it shows up as English; so it is a display issue, not a new language.

This started on booting the machine today, after some OS upgrades yesterday. (to OS 13.1). I've tried restarting FireFox.

I can't read the settings page well enough to change much there. But this seems like a different issue anyhow. Help please!

As usual on forums, none of the subject choices exactly fit my situation/problem, so I apologize for any unintended misdirection.

How do I uninstall Privacy Badger. It's been disabled, but not uninstalled. Please be specific as to keystrokes, screens, boxes, location of item. Many instructions tend to overuse computer jargon or common industry synonyms used daily within their sphere, which a laymen cannot easily translate, and often raise more questions than they answer. Installed on my Firefox browser. Thank you in advance.

I've been using Firefox on Mac and PC for many years, and been on Twitter/X for 12 years. Never had a problem before this.

X is now requiring users to enter and verify a 4-digit passcode to be able to use the DM feature. Firefox on Mac won't let me do this. Every time it produces an error message:

"Unable to load encryption module. Please refresh the page and try again."

But when I do it in Safari, or Explorer, or Chrome, it lets me do so.

The problem is, most of my data and resources are on my Macbook, and I have not been able to find a workaround. I've cleared my cache, made sure I'm on the latest version of Firefox, restarted it several times - same thing.

I need to get this fixed. Please help.

When the AI chatbot is enabled in the sidebar but "collapsed" -- the tool not engaged -- is any data sent to the chatbot provider? Can the chatbot be collecting data while not engaging with the user? Or is context sent only with prompts and limited to the tab that is open?

What sort of sandboxing is enforced by Firefox?

Suddenly today when I tried to use facebook, already logged in, I got the message "Account Temporarily Unavailable. Your account is currently unavailable due to a site issue. We expect this to be resolved shortly. Please try again in a few minutes." Yet facebook works fine on Safari and Chrome.

I cleared my settings, except cookies, turned off extensions and restarted firefox which did not help.

After signing into Amazon with firefox 43.0.1 (64-bit) browser on my mackbook I am not able to click on anything in firefox. I have to quit firefox and restart it before I can do anything. The even happens in a private window. Safari has no problems.

When I click on an e-edition link for a newspaper in gmail, the link doesn't direct to the correct site in Firefox. When I use Safari, and click on the e-edition link for the newspaper, the link works as it should and goes to the correct page. I would like to have the link work on the Firefox browser. Any suggestions. I think there might be some sort of security thing/action which is misdirecitng the link. In the past, this problem happened with other sites.
