Firefox suddenly quit opening or running on one of my computers. I have tried to reinstall firefox to now avail. I now get a message saying it can't load profile. I would like to do a complete clean reinstall but cannot fine a way to do that.

Hello, I just noticed that at the top of my settings menu there was a flag saying that I was not logged in to Firefox. I clicked the link and logged in. Bam, all my settings disappeared! I have special colours and fonts because I am partially sighted. It is now very difficult for me to use my browser. How can I get my settings back, please?

Hello, since today I am experiencing instant crash on start up. It was perfectly fine yesterday (10 hours ago). Even attempting to open safe mode when offered also instant crash. Firefox is currently unuseable.

I believe the recent 124.0.1 is the issue ? Can this be confirmed, where can I check if this issue is widespread & the ETA to an eventual fix ?

After i moved to another location and getting now internet via fiber and via fritz!-router 7530 i have issues with readability in many cases: Google News, Mailbox at GMX. To the 7530 my notebook is normally connected via WLAN. Text is in places often not shown, or colored in black or green or magenta, Images are often in places or complete filled with flicker (white, green, magenta, black). I suspected the WLAN connection and searched and read the ffox-help und tried some things, but nothing helped. Using a long cable from 7530 to nb has no effect.

more Details concerning the problem you can see here ! It should be great if you could help us with some diagnostics, for example why the problem only appears with FF on Linux, not with FF on WIN.

STR:

1. Launch Linux FF
2. Visit this page "Potential issue with plugin PITM" (Preview here
3. Because you will need an Account for visiting account please follow "Konto eröffnen" (Create Account) instructions).
4. After my approval for the account please visit again "Potential issue with plugin PITM"
5. Click "1.png" Below heading "Attachments", that should work without problems.
6. Close image view
7. Move Mouse pointer to image below heading "My test with a screenshot" – should become magnifier
8. Now Click that image

What are your results? FF Linux Problem or something else?

I'm trying to sign in with google to the blogspot link below, but when I try to sign in it just resets the page and doesn't sign me in. Please help.

Running an Ad Blocker on Router/Firewall. On my Ubuntu 22.05 any browser (Mozilla, Chrome) just clears the area where the ad was at. Starting to use Windows 10 and all browsers leave a mess where the ad was. Mostly error message "...hmmm were having trouble finding that site..". Hope there is a way to clean that up with Windows as well.

Whenever I open Firefox on Chrome OS, which I installed via the Linux shell terminal, it says in settings that the browser is managed by my organization. However, I don't have a school account signed in or anything.

A blank survey pops up in my homepage each time I open Firefox, I haven't filled it yet since I don't know what it entails and what it is about. There is no option to close it either, and it seems bugged as it isn't going away even after updating the version of Firefox, it is still present on 125.0.2 version. Kindly assist regarding the same. I am using Firefox Nightly 122.0a1 on Windows 11 and my sound stopped working a few days ago. I already reset Firefox to the default settings and reinstalled it. I checked the Windows Volume Mixer, but Firefox was missing from it. I hope someone can help me Thanks

Hello everyone!

For a couple of months now, Firefox has had no sound. T^T Uninstalling, reinstalling and resetting didn't seem to make an impact.

I did the "usual fixes" like rebooting, Windows (every sound, volume & device settings), checking for muted tabs and see if Firefox was wired to the right sound device etc, unfortunately to no result.

I even switched sound cards and reinstalled sound drivers but these worked fine everywhere else so it was unlikely they were the problem in the first place.

I think... I am a bit stuck! ^v^' I can share the full extended troubleshooting information if needed.

If I Open normal window (not private) then click menubar/3 bar menu (upper right side) and click 'new private window' and then close normal window, it also closed my private window. v121.00
