Last night I had an operating system update. Before the OS update, I closed all open apps, including Firefox. In the past, the session I closed the previous evening was restored. But this morning, all my pinned tabs and other open tabs are gone, and Restore Previous Session does not appear as an option on the dropdown menu. Recently Closed Tabs is pretty random, not really helpful. Recently Closed Windows only shows one tab that I opened this morning (probably a mistake on my part). Is there any way for me to retrieve the session from yesterday?

Hi, I am using Firefox exclusively for my work Claude account, I only check my usage on it. Today, I noticed Firefox silently installed a webapp under $USER/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs, and it has a Claude webapp, which I neither click any install or add to my menu. I found it extremely concerning in terms of privacy, and I am wondering if any other people have similar experience.

Browsing this website article I can see that there are embedded Youtube videos in the article but they are not loading, instead I only see blank spaces. I've turned off all extensions, turned off tracking protection, cleared cache and cookies for both the website and Youtube.com, and tried viewing the website in troubleshoot mode.

My bookmarks have stopped working. When I went to Edit Bookmark I found they are all empty. I can create a new bookmark as usual, but I have over 300 bookmarks that no long function that are very important to my work. Is there any way I can possibly restore them, as my work depends on them?

I cannot connect with my on-line banking site. When I try, I get the message "Bad Request--Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit. I am able to access the site using another browser, so there cannot be a problem with the site itself. This situation has only existed since Firefox did an update. So, the problem must lie with Firefox. If it is not fixed, then I fear that I will have to discontinue using Firefox as my online browser. I had a dedicated Firefox webpage popup yesterday that listed all my open tabs, tab history. I closed it before I noted the address and how I got there. I searched through my browsing history and I don't see it. I have never been able to access that page before. How do I bring it up again?

Tab groups work well with the standard tab bar, but when changing to vertical tabs, there is no clear way to expand the menu (aka hit the 'V' at the right of the tab bar for horizontal tabs) to see the tab group.

The only fix i found was to turn off vertical tabs, open the tab group, then turn on vertical tabs again.

When visiting Springer's websites (and others), I cannot select any text using Firefox (but I can with Chrome). I cannot find the setting to modify to enable this ability (text selection).

Please return my Computer to using Firefox default as my browser as it was 2/01 /2026.Ive tried several times to do this w/o success . I was using windows 11 and have been trying to get rid of MS365 which I never used but have been charged for a solution , but have been blocked and refused cancellation after they asked me to change my email address and PW . Insanely confusing !

I want it known that as soon as any AI foolishness that you can't opt out of is added to FireFox, I'm dropping it for a new browser and telling my family/friends to do the same. I'm very disappointed and thought FireFox would stay the best of the best, it's awful to be proven wrong in this respect.
