Suddenly F11/Fullscreen doesn't work. What could have happened?
Just a few minutes ago it was fine. I didn't go into about:config before this.

Windows 7 Pro, Firefox, current, 84.0.2.
I've tried logging out and back in, I've cleared ALL history, cache, cookies, etc. I've tried restarting Firefox, no help. Gmail, Voice and contacts all show fine. This was working fine last night, less than 12 hours ago. System was shut down last night, and booted this morning, and this problem has occurred. Logged in via Chrome and calendar shows fine, so it's likely some probem with firefox. Hate to reset firefox and have to load all my extensions again.
Here are the extensions/Add-ons I have loaded. But bear in mind these were loaded last night, and have been loaded for many months at least, with no problems. AND, other Google site, gmail, voice, contacts all work fine.

Below pic is what I see. Blue bar at top scrolls left to right continuously.
I've tried the Firefox reset/refresh option, exact same issue.
I'm even willing at this point to uninstall Firefox and reinstall from scratch, but how do I ensure ALL Firefox system modifications, etc. ARE removed?
HELP!
Thanks.

Before they updated their printing process, you could go to properties and change to black and white, or fast, or whatever. NOW, I can't find that option anywhere and it's awful. It's like they totally copied what Chrome looks like and Chrome's printing is awful. Mozilla was always better until now.
If anyone knows if there is some trick to getting to the properties page, that'd be great!

Ever since Firefox updated to version 85, I have been unable to stream anything. Netflix tells me I need to install Microsoft's Media Feature pack. Nope! I am running Windows 7 Home Premium (NOT the "N" version) so I have Windows Media Player installed already. I also cannot stream SiriusXM stations, Apple TV+, Spotify, CNN videos.....basically anything that involves streaming. YouTube videos still work however.
It's definitely a problem with the Firefox browser because all the above streaming sites work just fine under a different browser (Chrome). I have cleared the cache, I have started Firefox in Safe Mode, I have unchecked hardware acceleration.....NOTHING works!
Help please! I really don't want to refresh Firefox and lose all my settings.

There is a problem that has haunted me for many years, regardless of the versions of firefox, the bottom line is that when I close the browser after a long work, and open it later, an outdated session is restored, 4-5 hours old, and not the last one. Having watched the "sessionstore-backups" folder and its three files, I found that at some point these files simply stop changing, so the next time the browser is opened, the session is not fresh. Why is this happening, I cannot understand why the session files freeze and do not update despite the fact that I continue to work in firefox ??

I was logged on, Firefox shut down, installed new updates, and wiped everything because of new privacy controls - bookmarks, history, settings, everything! To log into my account, I had to reset because I lost my password and couldn't get to the recovery key link. I have a backup bookmarks file from a couple of days ago, but it's missing some really important pages I just bookmarked last night and there's no history for me to reference. First of all, why did Firefox do such a drastic update with no notice and secondly, is there anything I can do to restore everything I'm missing? I'm so upset I'm thinking about removing Firefox as my default browser. TIA for your help.

Ever since I installed the last update, 84, which caused a host of problems I will not go into, an unanticipated one was that I can non longer output to PDF as Firefox automatically changes it to Firefox HTML Files. I can view them in Acrobat, but the subtle difference makes it impossible for Word Perfect to recognise them if I need to import them back (as in when something gets lost and all I have is the PDF). Please, community, do NOT tell me all I need to do is use MS Word to fix this. This is NEVER going to happen, now or ever! Now that this made clear, what, if anything can I do? And why would Firefox have anything to DO with me converting WP files into PDF? Clearly there is some greedy little finger stuck somewhere, because the proof is in the long list of files I now have that are no longer PDF. I have opened them in Acrobat and saved them again, but they still show up as FIrefox HTML Files. Aaargh! Help, please! It's driving me mad!
It happens in both Firefox and Chrome browsers but only with certain websites. Is it by design of the streaming source or the browser's fault? thanks

Hello,

I would expect to see an alert window every second. This is working in IE11 but not in the latest Firefox. Is this a bug or a feature? :-) I just wanted to ask here first before creating a bug report. Thank you for your answers in advance!

Hello, I use a popular website hrca.net (Hornby Railways Collectors Association). Since about 12th February this year attempted access just times out saying the site is busy or down. I get the same problem using other browsers. Firefox flags a certificate/name/address error warning which can be bypassed but not very convenient and possibly unsafe. The owner of the website asked me to try the IP address as a test and it works perfectly. Why is Firefox suddenly flagging this problem after 6 years of using this site without any issues? The website owner says no other users have reported any problems. There are 2000+ users. I have tried clearing the cache, disabling add-ons and resetting Firefox. Using CMD tracert I have discovered the IP address called by hrca.net on my laptop is not the same as the one supplied by website owner. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
